Chapter 7: Why?

"I think I'm in love with you"
Shocked, I slammed the door on his foot.
"FUCK!" He screamed jumped back, wincing at the pain.
"S-sorry" was all I managed to say before slamming the bathroom door shut. I slid down the door attempting to collect my thoughts, then from the other room I hear my phone ringing, I know it mine because of my ringtone.
"Lizzie, someone called Shantel is calling you" he said through the door.
What does my mum want?
I get up and open the door to go over to my bed to pick up my phone. I answered the call.
"Hi mum" I said sweetly.
"Hi hunny how are you?" She asked.
"I'm good, how are you and Lilly?" I asked.
"We are good. I called to tell you that umm.." she paused "your father has came home"
What the actual fuck? Why would we return?
"Hunny, you still there?"
"Yeah I'm here"
"He also told us that he is going away on another business trip" she sounded wary.
"Oh, where?" I asked because she wouldn't mention it unless it was important.
"He is going to Slough to work with a band called RoadTrip. Heard of them?"
My heart dropped. Why them?
"I-um I gotta go. I love you." I hung up the phone.
I sat on my bed head in my hands and I got lost in my thoughts.

Why here? Why is he already ruining things when he isn't even here? A tear trickles down my cheek

A voice interrupts me.
"Liz, are you a-"
"I'm sorry Rye but you have to leave. Tell the boys I'm just going to stay in tonight."
"Oh.. umm.. well if you need to talk to someone I'm always here."
"Thanks Rye it means a lot" I look up through my tears to see him staring down at me with a small smile and for some reason my heart flutters. I look down at my feet as soon as I feel that strange feeling.
"Is there anything I could do?" He asks.
"Not much" I reply.
"Ok I'll come over in about an hour or so to check up on you. Bye"
He walks out the door and before it shut I hear him murmur 'I love you'. 

Once he had left I got changed into pajamas and washed off my now ruined makeup and put on Netflix and started watching a random program

RYE'S P.O.V

As I closed the door I could stop my self from saying those 3 words again.

A/N

So to be completely honest I just haven't had any inspiration to write for like the past months and I think I'm going to discontinue this book for now just until I get back into writing which will hopefully be soon.
Once I do get back into writing I will remake this book as another because I personally believe in showing my progress and this shows my progress as a 'writer'
