Cory asks you out

  It was the first day of school.

Topanga my best friend walked up and hugged me.

"(Y/N) I missed you."She told me.

"I missed you too, "I said

"It felt like months," Topanga said.

"It was 5 days, "I said.

"That's horrible," Topanga said.

"I know."I said then sighed."Look at Cory. He's so handsome."

"you like him."She teased.

"Shut up.'I said.

"Cory and (Y/N)Sitting in a tree," Topanga said

"I thought I missed him over the summer Topi, but I miss him even more in person," I said

"That doesn't make sense," Topi said

I ignored her.

"I mean he's practically a man," I said

"Barely, "Topi said

Topi pointed behind me and I turned to be faced to face with Cory.

"Hello," Cory said

"Cory hi. It's good to see you again. Guess what we have the same classes again."I said

"Yeah, I had a nice summer too," Cory said.
I tried to hold back a laugh.

"Bye," Cory said walking away.

"What was that about?"I asked laughing...

"I don't know," Topanga said weirded out.

The bell rang and we walked into the class. A few seconds later Shawn and Cory walked into the classroom with Mr.Turner behind them. I walked up to Mr.Turner.

"Can I pass out the sheets?"I asked

"Sure (Y/N)."Mr.Turner said

"Thanks," I said.

I started to pass the papers out. I put a paper on Cory's desk.

"Uh (Y/N)?"Cory asked

"Yeah, Cory?"I asked

"Thanks for this," Cory said then saluted.

I walked over to Topanga who sat across from him.

"So, um (Y/N)Friday night what's going on?"Cory asked

"I don't know, "I said

"Neither do I," Cory said. Cory then gave me the thumbs up and sat down. I raised an eyebrow but ignored it.

I was walking into the cafeteria with Topanga until Shawn stopped me.

"Hey (Y/N). The movies are coming up, and I wanted to know if you want to go with me."Shawn said

I smiled."Sure I'd like that."

"OK good," Shawn said and walked away.

I went into the cafeteria and walked to Cory.

"Cory are you OK?"I asked

Cory stood up and pushed his chair in.

"Yeah very OK why?"Cory asked

"The whole day you've hardly said a word to me, avoided eye contact, and did I imagine this or did you salute me?"I asked.

"Yeah, you were in the rainforest with Topanga a long time. See salutings in now."Cory said. Cory then saluted as someone walked past."Bob."Cory saluted again as a jock walked past."Steve."Coach Franklin walked by so he saluted again."Coach Franklin."
