Annabeth Chase shuddered as she wrapped her traveling cloak around her slim shoulders. Why did her mother have to send her to Hogwarts of all places? She would rather attend Camp Jupiter if it meant that she could stay in a place that had a mildly normal name. Worst of all, Annabeth was separated from Percy, her sun and stars. Percy was Annabeth's idea of the perfect guy. He was strong, brave, witty, raven-haired, loyal, and also a son of the Big Three. Not an ounce of boredom resided in Percy's soul which just inflamed Annabeth's desire for him even more. "Why must the gods curse me so?" moaned Annabeth as she trudged up the path towards Hogwarts.

Days before Annabeth began making her journey towards Hogwarts, Camp Half-Blood was invaded by a group of raging Furies. The Furies rampaged through the food supply as well as the weapon stock, and even daring to snatch a few campers for a midnight snack. Chiron needed a few months to repair the damage and to regain his missing campers and with a heavy heart, had to temporarily close the camp. With so many monsters on the loose, he had to place the campers in magical zones where they wouldn't be harmed. Hogwarts was an obvious choice, as well as The Shire, Narnia, and Westeros. While other leaders were more lenient towards the number of campers they were to house, Dumbledore would only accept one. It was up to the gods as to who would be attending Hogwarts and being quite firm, Athena volunteered her daughter. Little did she know that this choice would change the relationship between wizards and demigods forever.
