"That Malfoy boy is doing my daughter no favors," said Athena. "I hope he realizes how I can turn him into a spider at any given moment."

"Oh, calm down, would you?" chuckled Zeus. "He just fancies her, is all."

Athena bristled. "I do hope he fancies the cursed necklace I may send his way if he tries anything."

Zeus walked away, tittering to himself. Athena thought she heard him mutter "kids these days" before rounding the corner.

She gracefully exited the ornate throne room, as if she was being watched. Which, in a way, she was. The gods all glanced at one another from time to time, often without warning. She cast a wary eye down at the world below. She hoped Camp Half-Blood would be fixed soon. The magical properties of other places were giving her a headache.
