" Jiminie, you're finally here," I said as my brat of a best friend entered my apartment, bringing in a cocky aura in with him. I didn't bother to glance at him because he had been here so often, that he practically lived here.
Actually, now that I think about it, he has been growing distant. He doesn't call me as frequently as he did when we were teenagers, and he's always ditching our hangouts for "dance practice." His reasoning seemed a bit skeptical to me, but I let him off the hook since he sincerely looked overwhelmed and stressed recently.
Friday movie nights, however, were the exception. He would never get away with running away from me on Fridays. It was tradition, and in some ways, my salvation period away from the ruthless monster, known as College.
Despite his stubbornness and pestering behavior, Jimin brought some desperately needed warmth into my life. My so-called friends at school would just act as backstabbing spiders, and you know, never trust spiders! Jimin was my oasis within the endless deserts of my loneliness and despair.
Hopefully, I would never lose Jimin because I didn't want to succumb to the darkness inside of me. Although I would never admit it to him, I deeply appreciated his effort to continue and deepen our relationship. His care and concern for my happiness ultimately was the reason why I trusted him to be my best friend, definitely not because of his perverted jokes or dry humor. No way...
Once I had gathered enough of my energy to actually greet my best buddy, my heart stopped for a second. His ethereal being stood in front of me, with a slight smirk and bags full of ice cream and classy wine. Yes, we were sophisticated like that.
His appearance, however, had changed from the last time I had seen him; his new brown hair had adorned his face at the right angles and his eyes sparkled with hope that I could only wish I had. His plump, slightly chapped lips seemed to stand out more as the moonlight from my open window illuminated them, making it impossible for me to not gulp out of thirst.
Hey, stop it! I internally screamed at myself as my eyes lingered for too long on his inhumane features.
More than his captivating appearance, his refined image sparked a wave of nostalgia to wash over me. Just one look at him made me reminisce our bittersweet childhood memories, a movie of cherished, laughter-filled days rolling through my mind.
"Bish, what are you looking at?" Jimin questioned inquisitively, which, thankfully, was enough to pull me out of my little entrancement.
At that very moment, my night had started to go downhill and it began with the mischievous chuckling of a certain somebody.

I don't know how this will turn out, since I don't have prewritten chapters for it. I do have a blurry idea of how I want this story to turn out, but this is it for now!
Shit's about to go down, down, babyy.
