Chapter 1

It was just another day in the killing game. Nobody has killed anyone which is making Monokuma upset. But right now all of us are sitting in the dining room eating breakfast while chatting amongst ourselves. Well all of us except one. Kokichi Ouma to be specific.

Why is he late....?

Is something wrong...?

Does he need help..?

No, Kokichi can handle himself....

Yeah, he probably just had something important to do...

Yeah...

After I finished debating with myself, I decided to join Kaede and Rantaro's conversation about traveling.

"So Shuichi, have you travelled somewhere before?" Rantaro looked at me.

"Well yeah, considering that my uncle is a detective." I responded.

"But where did you go?" Kaede asked.

"Well there was this one time when-"

"Rise and Shine ursine!"

Everyone stoped talking and turned there attention to the five Monokubs standing in front of the table.

"We have some important new!" Monophanie shouted.

"Yeah", Monotaro started. "Wait-what did we have to tell them?"

"You forgot already," Monosuke exclaimed.

"God damn it Monodam, this is all of your fault!" Monokid blamed Monodam.

"..."

"Hey, cut the shit, why are all of you here!" Miu pointed a towards the kubs.

"Well we have a very important message from daddy." Monophanie started. "But before I go into detail about that I have a question."

"Have you even noticed that one of your classmates is missing?" Monotaro interrupted.

"Of course we noticed, now get to the point." Maki impatiently said.

"W-Well...uh...the message-"

Monodam quickly interrupted Monophaine.

"FATHER-DID-SOMETHING-TO-YOUR-CLASSMATE-BECAUSE-YOU-BASTARDS-DIDN'T-WANT-TO-KILL-EACH OTHER."

I felt my stomach drop....

Did they hurt Kokichi?!

I opened my mouth to ask that question, but Rantaro already beat me to it when he stood up from his seat.

"What did you do to him?" He said with threatening tone.

"W-We didn't do it! B-But I think that you guys won't believe us unless you see it for yourself!" Monophanie frantically said before all 5 of the Kubs ran away.

"..."

Silence.

Nobody said anything. But I've heard enough.

I stood up from my seat.

"I'm leaving." I said before quickly walking out of the dining hall.

I knew something was off...

Yet I simply put my worries aside...

And now all I can do is hope that he's okay.

"Wait! Shuichi!" Kaito ran up to me with Maki right behind him.

I stoped walking.

"Listen I know that you're worried, but-"

"What if Kokichi is up to no good." Maki interrupted.

I sighed.

Why do they always do this?

I mean, I know that Kokichi causes everyone trouble and only some of us can tolerate him.

But if he's I trouble, I want to be able to help him.

"-ichi,Shuichi!" Kaito place his hand on my shoulder. "Are you even listening to us?!"

"..."

"Shu-"

"No, listen, I know that you guys are worried about me being involved with Kokichi. But if he's in trouble, i want to be able to help him. So please, just trust me."I said.

Kaito removed his hand.

"Okay, we trust you. Good luck sidekick." Kaito said before grabbing Maki's hand and walking back to the dining hall.

"Thank you Kaito", I whispered.

I finally arrived at Kokichi's door, and knocked.

"Hey Koki-"

The door opened.

"K-Kokichi." I said before hesitantly entering the room.

I looked around...everything in the room look normal. But where's Kokichi? Wait.

I looked at the floor.

Those are Kokichi's clothes!

I slowly approached the outfit on the floor and extended my arm to grab it. But once I removed the clothes from the floor there was something unexpected laying there.

A sleeping toddler?!

He's small, has purple hair, and looks like...

"K-Kokichi?!"
