Chapter 7

3rd Person's POV

  It was already morning and team YAVN smelled pancakes. They all went down to see Ren making Pancakes. Some of the finished pancakes were eaten by Nora. "Nora, save some for us" Y/N whined. "Oops sorry" Nora apologized and stopped herself from getting an another pancake.

   The pancakes were done and they all ate. "Hey Y/N. Wanna go check out a store today?" Ruby asks Y/N. "Sure" Y/N said while taking a bite of her pancake on her fork. "Great! Anyone would like to join us?" Ruby asks. "I have to clean up after this. And Watch after Nora" Ren said. "Yeah, I'm going out later night" Nora said. "I have to train later" Viola said. "I'm to lazy to take walk" Noreen said. "I have to rest" Alice said. Then Ruby frowned a but but smiled. "That's okay, I have Y/N with me" Ruby said cheerfully.

Y/N's POV

   After I finished my food. I did my morning routine and went downstairs to see Ruby on the couch waiting for me. "Let's go!" I said and she stood up with a smile.

   We went out and walked around the village. We went in a bookstore and I saw some few manga. I went to get one and took a look. "Ooh~ What's that?" Ruby asked. "It's Manga, it's like a comic book but it's anime" I said to her with a smile. "May I take a look" Ruby said and I gave it to her. She got interested after she took a look. "Let's buy some" I said to her while holding out my wallet. In the end we bought all of the manga in that bookstore. "I'm going to read all of them!" Ruby said with a smile. "I could read all of this in one day" I said while holding up the paper bag. "What!? You really can?!" Ruby got surprised. "Ye. Once you got used to it. You will read all of this in one day" I said to her. "What should we do now" Ruby said. "I have an idea" I said to her.

   We got in the store and Ruby was in awe. "Amazing right" I said to her with a smile. "Definitely. But what if we ran out of money" Ruby asked me. "Well I dont know at all" I said and she just sweat dropped. "Maybe you want to buy something in here" A male voice said. I looked at the source of the voice and shouted ina cheerful way. "Filip!" He smiled at me and looked at Ruby. "Filip this is Ruby Rose and Ruby this is Filip Trona. He is one of my best friend a long time ago" I introduced them. "Hello" Ruby said and smiled. "Now what do you want to buy? Let me guess. Oh look a manga. Oh look it's your favourite anime" Filip said pointing at mangas and stuff. My eyes were full of gleam and in the end the three of us bought a mug and a hoodie and a shirt. "Hey Ruby. Try watching Anime" I said to her. "Yeah, if you are easily addicted to something then you will turn into like us" Filip said. "And what does that mean?" Ruby asked. "Both of us are OTAKUS" me and Filip said in unison and in a cheerful way. "Now do you girls want to get a drink?" Filip asked. "FILIP!" Someone shouted and cling onto Filip's arm. "What is it Reed?" Filip asked. "Ivan and Zoul are chasing me. Oh hi again!" Reed said and waved hi to me. "REED!" I saw Ivan and Zoul shouted behind Filip. Reed started to run away again and Filip looked behind him. "This is my life with my teammates" Filip said. Me and Ruby giggled. "Well I my team got separated" Ruby said. "Wait I thought Jaune, Nora, and Ren are your teammates" I said to her. She shook her head. "Well Jaune, Nora, and Ren are teammates. One of their teammates died" Ruby frowned. "I'm so sorry Ruby" I said to her and patted her back. "It's okay. We all can move on" Ruby said while wiping some few tears away. I hugged her and patted her head. "Definitely" I said to her. I let go of her. "Now we must escape from my teammates now" Filip said and grabbed my hand and I grabbed Ruby's hand. "Filip, Ruby should take the lead. Ruby go to the café" I said and she nodded. She used her semblance which is speed and we reached the café in no time. We were inside and found some seats. We put our paper bags beside the window and on the table. I sighed and I sat beside Ruby. "I want a crepe and an iced latte" I said to Filip. "I want some cookies and milk" Ruby said and I giggled. "I drink milk, no one should argue or complain about that" Ruby said and chuckled.

   We finally got our order and ate my crepe while drinking my latte. "It looks like we can be a team now. All we need is one more team leader" I said and they laughed. "You know what you are right" I stabbed my fork on the crepe and took a bite. "Say Ruby. What was your team like?" Filip asked. "Oh Y/N knows it" she said. "Some loyal teammates. A freakin fire, a neko, an Ice queen that can also melt. And a leader who is very special. They are called Team RWBY" I said to Filip and he nodded. "How about your team" Filip then asked me. "Ruby" I gestured to Ruby so she could say it. "A freakin trainer, A quiet dark but can also be a light one, and a cheerful one. And a leader who is loyal and very smart to her teammates. Team YAVN" Ruby said and I smiled. "Lol" I said to her and then a hand slammed on our table we looked at who it was and it was Zoul. "Ruby this is Zoul, he is very cold" Filip said and smiled. "Woah that rhymed" Ruby said and I just smiled at her. "How could you choose other people over your team" Zoul said. "Well he is really cold" Ruby said. "We should name him the Ice King" I said then the three of us laughed. "I took not of that" Filip said and laughed. "You know what. How could I trust them by giving me a nickname" Zoul said. "Well we gave Jaune the nickname" Ruby paused. "Vomit boy" I said and Ruby and I laughed. "Why vomit boy?" Filip asked with a smirk. "Well he  vomited in the ship. And the first thing that came in mind was vomit boy" I said to them. "Vomiting on the ship. Did he even made a mess?" Zoul asked. I shook my head. "And there's crater face" I said. "Hey! That explosion was an accident!" Ruby said. "You made Ice queen into a fried queen" I said to her and the three of us laughed. "I never knew you exploded" Filip said. Zoul took a seat beside Filip and he was across from me. "Well Weiss was explaining something and dust just came to my face and I sneezed" Ruby said. "I miss the good old days" I said to Ruby. "Oh yeah and the great Food Fight in the cafeteria!" Ruby said. Then Zoul raised his hand. "Yes?" I asked him. "Did you trust Vomit boy?" Zoul asked. "Of course. He was the first guy I talked to" I said. "Same. That's when I met Y/N. Without him I could never meet my bestfriend!" Ruby said. "Wait wait wait, I hear there are three teams who were food fighting in the cafeteria" Filip said. "Well The teams are RWBY, YAVN, and TEAM JNPR" I said to him. "So who won?" Filip asked "team RWBY and Team YAVN" Ruby said. "So may I ask what's in this bag?" Zoul said while taking a bag and looked inside. He took out a manga which is mine. "This is my favourite" Zoul said. "Okay. Well it is mine. So you can ask me to borrow it" I said to him. "So can I borrow it?" Zoul asked and I just nodded. "Fine I trust you and your friends" Zoul said and he started to read the manga. "I think we need to go before my uncle will get drunk again" Ruby said. She took her paper bags and I took mine. "Let me put you into my contacts" I said to him and did as what I said. "Bye" I said to him and me and Ruby left.

Filip's POV
 
   I looked at Zoul and he was focused on the manga. "Finally you trust her" I said to him. "You know my personality Filip. I think those two have been through a lot of things. Like those depressing and sad things you know. Both of them are responsible and they are cheerful. Both of them have been through a lot" Zoul said. "And they have a spark of hope" Zoul continued and then her ordered a drink and I payed for it. After that we went out of the café and found our two teammates. "Can you say to Y/N to go get this tomorrow" Zoul said and I just gave him a nod. "C'mon you two" I grabbed Ivan and Reed's collar and dragged them with Zoul following us.
