So this part is a bit short but we discover some things about our protagonist! Hope you enjoy it and untill the next week ^^

A few weeks passed since she came to the Rinaldi house.

At first it was a little difficult for her to adapt to the new environment but all the people were really respectful to her, the fact that she faced Natasha Petrova to safe their boss was always in their minds. The unique exception was Little Dalila, that was spoiled rotten since a child and now that there was someone that didn't do things her way she was like a time bomb that could go off at any minute.

Her worry at the moment was to prove that Bianca wasn't worthy of the attention she was receiving. She challenged her to everything she could. From physical tests to mind games.

Bianca was at first surprised that she could actually counter to all she was thrown. She didn't worry about the physical part thanks to her cultivation and even when shooting guns she only needed a few bullets to adapt herself and not failing again.

But she didn't receive any kind of education about maths, riddles, etc. Yet she was able to answer to all of the questions. She even knew how to play the piano! And the variety of songs she remembered were not few. She started to suspect that in her original life she was a really smart woman and a music freak.

And her cooking was superb.

Dalila couldn't find any fault at her so she started to panic. What could she do to make her dear brother become completely uninterested? She then thought about what Leo had said earlier.

—She was treated badly by her uncle so now she don't like people to touch her. Mostly men. Please leave her alone and don't molest her, okay?

So she didn't like men to touch her. The brunette thought that if she could "taint" that woman then her brother would start paying attention to her again.

She decided to wait to the party that would be held the next month. The Rinaldi family would host a reunion of the greatest people of the underworld to try to make some connexions while handle some business. Of course, there would be enemies too but her family was the most powerful one so she didn't have to worry about anything at all.

—If I give her to that Demos Martinelli then my brother won't take another look to her —Dalila starter divagating about her brilliant future.

Meanwhile, Bianca was currently sitting before the piano. Her fingers danced on top of the keys, caressing them to create a soft and delicate sound. She was humming with her eyes closed, trying to connect with the memories of her original self. It didn't matter how much she struggled to get close to that feeling, the only that popped in her mind was her family and spontaneous things as the songs and the answers of the tests. She still couldn't remember who she was so her only option was to continue following the stupid system.

【Please, user. This system asks you to refrain from doing this sort of comments or it will ultimately executate a punishment. You are warned.】

And what kind of punishment can you execute? You useless shit of a system.

【...The system will proceed with the punishment.】

Leonardo has been walking in front of the music room and stopped by to listen carefully at that beautiful melody that lingered in the air when a sudden scratchy noise startled him. He opened the door with a slam and found Bianca clutching her chest with her head on the keys. She was sweating so much that it seemed like it could form a pool at any second, her breathing was very sharp and unstable. It was almost like she was suffering from a heart attack. Leo was terrified at that thought and turned on his heels to go look a doctor to examine the woman when she interrupted him.

—I'm fine. You don't have to worry —she brushed her red locks that got stuck on her face. She steadied her pulse and calmed herself while taking note of never again make fun of the system's punishment. She turned her head to the side to see that Leonardo still had a restless look on his face—. I'm really fine. It only caught me by surprise so that's why I reacted that way. It was nothing bad.

—It seemed like a heart attack to me.

—It wasn't. I promise you —Bianca rose her right hand high to show her intentions.

The blonde could only sigh at this behaviour and approached her. He stopped only at one step of distance of the woman. It was the first time he came this close since she confessed that she didn't like to be touched by others, mostly men.

—Can I? —he lifted his arm but mantained a prudent distance of her hair. He was itchy to touch that curly silk, that smooth skin, those appetizing cherry red lips. But he couldn't do anything without permission. So the only thing he did was to wait her response.

Bianca stared doubtfully at the man before her. She still had the feeling that Leonardo had the same soul as her Huan Yue. But she couldn't be sure without the system confirmation, yet it had completely refused to answer her. Even though, she had made a decision in her heart. She wasn't Yi Jie anymore so she had to give Bianca the opportunity to fall in love too and not be anchored in the past. Of course that didn't mean that she was going to fall right at this moment. She needed time. And her partner had to prove himself to her first because she was going to choose the best candidate.

—You can. But with moderation.

Leo almost jumped in joy. He delicately ran his fingers through her hair, savoring each moment. His eyes clearly showed how pleased he was. His hand then went down to her cheek, caressing it with tenderness. Before he could move his fingertips closer to her lips, she intervened.

—Stop.

The arm was rapidly retired and there was a smile drawn in his face. Bianca raised a brow, instiging him to voice his thoughts. Yet he didn't so she didn't have any other option but to ask directly.

—Why do you have that idiotic smile in your face?

—That's because you decided to trust me enough to let me touch you. I'm proud of myself for not giving up —the curve on his lips only increased, showing more of his teeth.

—It were only a few weeks, you know? Don't be so full of yourself.

And after flicking his forehead, she exited the room while containing her giggles that attempted to escape her sealed mouth. Yet she was unable to hide that genuine smile that didn't go unnoticed by a pair of sharp green orbs.

—It seems that my idiotic son may gain a powerful wife in the near future. At least I won't have to worry about grandchildren —Alessandra walked humming through the hall—. But first I'll have to take care of that ungrateful daughter of mine.
