The boy from district 9

Chapter 5 : the enemies

I wake up and look around. I am confused at first as I have forgot where I am. I rub my tired eyes, and come back to reality. Harry is asleep next to me along with a few other people. it must be early morning I think to my self.

But then I think that surely someone is awake keeping watch?

I walk towards the opening of the cage and see Lawrence the boy from district 8 lieing lifeless on the floor with a stab wound.

I stand there speechless and run to get help.

As I go someone from behind grabs me, and before I can scream puts their hand over my mouth.

I kick and punch and try as hard as I can to wriggle out.

Then I wonder why they haven't just killed me yet.

I turn my head and see that the person who has got me is the girl from district 1 Kerris along with the boys from 1 and 2 Charlie and gabe.

Charlie picks up his axe and walks towards the ones who are sleeping.

He goes towards Harry.

I try to think fast ...

I lift up my mouth and bite Kerris hand as hard as I could.

She lets out a scream and let's go of me.

I kick her in the stomach and start screaming out to Harry.

He wakes up a long with the others and already his sword was by his side.

By now everyone is up with their weapons. glaring at the enemy.

I look at Harry and his eyes widen as I turn round and Kerris has me again.

But this time with an axe to my throat.

"Go on" she growls

"Kill one of us Harry and see what happens"

Harry's face goes pale.

I don't understand, I am really missing something here.

"Let her go" Harry shouts

Charlie and gabe have walked back and are now by Kerris side.

"Or what" a big hideous grin crawls on her face.

Before anyone can do anything she flips her axe round so it's the wooden part and hits it across my head.

I feel my body collapse and my eyes close.
