The Deepest Pit

In the deepest pit, the weakest
Will lie alone, the shining silver,
Our only friend

Red will blossom, and spread
All around, like a roses petals,
And seep into the cold, hard ground

The rope that hangs,
A loop, the window to another world
We wear them like necklaces in the growing darkness of our everbreaking
Minds

We say goodbye in the last words
We will ever write.

The chair will fall, we will take
Our final breath.
It will be all over,
And we will greet Death as a friend who will free us from the deepest pit
