Late Night Drives

The roaring engine,
Rumbling beneath me.
The wild wind,
Blowing in my hair.
The tunes blasting,
With me singing along to every single one of them.

We drive at the dead of night-
On a mini road trip,
That will change our lives.

Head in the clouds,
Heart on my sleeves,
Mind in the song playing.
Deep into our conversation-
All while looking up,
Looking at stars.
Deep breathes,
Without a single care.
Thoughts of you,
Driving me insane
With the love that we share.

Hand on my knee,
Warmth on my skin,
Feeling it through my jeans.
I close my eyes,
To take it all in.
The perfect late night drive, commenced.

Cheeks hurting,
From so much smiling.
Tummy aches,
From all the laughter.
Chest tight,
From all the love
That you can possible feel in just one night.

See the moon
Shining bright.
The perfect light,
To look over to see;
Your eyes light up-
Glistening gleam.
The biggest smile-
You could ever see.
This is truly the best- it could possibly be,
For a late night drive, commence.

Heart beats strong,
Feeling the blood being pushed
Through my veins
Whimsically looking at you,
Looking at love.
All the while,
