Chapter 7

*Third POV*

"Everyone! Wake up! The master is dead!" A maid had just opened Megamo's father's chamber to find him dead and on the floor. As soon as those words met Megamo's ears he shot up from where he was laying. Ayano woke up because of all the commotion, but stayed still. She knew who did it, so there was no point in making a fuss. Megamo didn't seem to notice because he was already out the door and on his way to his fathers room. Ayano sighed before finally getting up and stretching.

Ayano decided it would be best not to see the body, that way she could just tell everyone she couldn't handle the sight of blood.

"What happened?! Why is my father dead?!" Megamo pushed through the maids to see his father exactly how he left him.

"We just found him like this..... Someone in this mansion must've killed him." Megamo soon became nervous, not because he was worried about getting caught, but because they could blame it on Ayano.

"I know who did this! It's that emotionless freak you keep around!" One of the maids pointed towards Megamo in a threatening way, although Megamo wasn't fazed by it.

"Impossible. Ayano was with me the whole night, and how am I supposed to believe that you didn't do it and you're just blaming it on her?" Megamo glared at the maid which made the girl squirm and look at him with fearful eyes.

"M-maybe we should just look at the camera footage....." Megamo smirked. He destroyed all the camera footage from what he did last night, so they wouldn't find anything. They all walked to where the camera room is and was shocked at what they found. The camera man was on the floor passed out and the screens were all broken. The maids tried to look for the footage but it was smashed into pieces.

"W-What....? How is this possible?!" The maid yelled out in frustration.

"It had to have been that Aishis' fault! She's the only one who could've done it!" One of the other maids yelled out, making the same statement the other staff member said earlier.

"Listen Mr. Saikou, she's the only one here that would do such a thing. We should just turn her in." The main maid told him with a cautious tone. Megamo had been acting a bit different lately when it came to Ayano. They didn't want him to snap at them like he had done before....

"You should not assume things without evidence! There is no way to-"

"Megamo Saikou! She is crazy, she had to of done it! Why are you so intent on protecting her?"

"Why are you intent on ruining me and hers' happily ever after together?!" Megamo yelled, finally having enough. The staff of the house were all in shock. They now all came down to one conclusion.

"Megamo. Did you kill your father?" The women asked, after what seemed like years of silence. Megamo stayed silent with an insane aura surrounding him. When the maid received no answer all the staff now knew for sure that it was him. The maid slowly backed up while multiple others pulled out their phones and dialed the police.

'There's no turning back now.' Megamo thought before bolting towards his bedroom.
