"Hi dad." I say shakily, I am very nervous.

My dad's face has a stern look on it, he has aged a whole lot. I meet my blue eyes with his cold brown eyes. I can see hatred on his face, and I gulp.

"What the hell do you want, I thought I got rid of you 16 years ago." he says seriously with a rough tone to his voice. I can smell alcohol on his breath.

"Well, I'd like to talk." I say taking a deep breath.

My dad gives me a good look, and slams the door, not saying a word.

I stand in front of the door, looking down at my feet and bite my lip, trying to hold back tears. I swallow, and glance back up at the door, and shaking my head.

I slowly turn to my car, and take slow steps watching my feet. A hot tear rolls down my cheek. I knew I shouldn't have came here. I open my car door and sit down.

I drive about half a mile, I can't see too good from my tears, so I pull over on the side on the old country road.

I put my elbows on the steering wheel, and my face in my hands. I sit there and absolutely sob. I can't hold back anything else.

"Lord, please help me. Please help me understand why this is all happening to me." I manage to choke out through all my tears.

After that short prayer, a car honked behind me. When I looked back up, I noticed I didn't pull all the way over, actually about half way in the road.

I started up my car, and drove off angrily. I also knew exactly where I was going.
