We walked back holding hands. When we returned everyone was staring. "What?" I asked knowing it wasn't the first time they saw me fight. "You love her?" Rydel asked. "Yeah. I do." I pull her closer to me. Rydel walks up to me and hugs me. She hasn't hugged me since the jumping off the roof thing. "I love you Ross and I'm glad you're not a player anymore. I just wanted my brother back." "I love you too Rydel and I'm glad I'm back too."
After dinner that night I go upstairs to get changed. "Laura!" I call as I get done putting my pants on. "What!" She yells. "Come here." I lay down on my bed waiting for her. "What?" She asks coming in. I pat the spot next to me and she sits down. "Wanna watch a movie?" I ask. "Yeah. Let's watch Frozen!" "Sure baby." I get up and put Frozen in. By the end of the movie Laura was already asleep." I kiss her head. "I love you." I whisper. "I love you to baby." I hear her whisper back. And we fall asleep in each others arms.
