Chapter 5: The Devil Themselves

I dreaded waking up today. I woke up at 8:30 because I have to get ready for my stupid cousins coming over, Rachel and Kristie, at 9:30. Their parents are super rich and snobby. So, whenever they come over my parents try to make us look like we're rich too. My dad has always been jealous of his brother because he has my dads dream job being a doctor. Anyways, I rolled out of bed and put on Panic! At The Disco while I got ready. I put on this super bright pink 'rich person' dress which I hate! Then I went into my bathroom and did my make up and curled my H/C hair. I usually don't use that much makeup but when my cousins come over I have to get all glammed up and do my hair.

I walk out of my bathroom and walked downstairs to the kitchen where I was greeted by my parents and my little brother Caleb.

"Good morning sweetheart." My mom said as I came down the stairs.

"Good morning mom, good morning dad." I said.

"Morning kid." My dad said not looking up from his laptop.

"Rachel and Kristie should be here soon." My mom said with a sigh.

I didn't say anything after that and sat down at the table and grabbed a pancake and ate it fast. Before I knew it there was a knock at the door. My dad opened the door and greeted everybody. My Uncle Jared, Aunt Martha, and cousins walked in looking around our house.

"Hello, it's nice to see you again." I said with a fake, but genuine looking, smile.

They just looked at me not saying a word back.

"So, Y/N, why don't you take Rachel and Kristie into your room." My dad said.

*Shit! I forgot to take my posters off the wall* (When you see something like that then it means it's in your head)

"Umm, Ok, just one second, I need to.............. clear off my desk." I said running up the stairs.

I ripped my posters off as fast as I could. I then ran back downstairs.

"Ok, let me show you my room." I said slightly breathing heavily.

My cousins and I walked upstairs to my room. When we got in I shut my door and sat down on my bed.

"So, what do you wanna do?" I asked very politely.

They just stared at me not saying anything.

"Ok, umm....... are you thirsty or hungry?"

They looked at each other for a moment and smirked deviously.

"Get us water." Rachel said with that smirk still on here face.

I hesitantly got up knowing exactly what they were going to do. I went into the kitchen and got two glasses of water and went back upstairs, and like I thought they were going through my desk drawers. I didn't really care that much because all I had in the drawers were some art supplies and I put all of my band stuff in my closet. But, of course they were going through my closet now. I instantly panicked not knowing what to do. I quickly got up and closed my closet.

"Do you wanna watch a movie or something." I asked, praying that their answer will be a yes.

They just got up and sat back down on my bed, going on their phones. I sat down at my desk going on my phone as well when I got a text from Noah.

Noah😍🙃: Hey Y/N, hows it going with your cousins?

Y/N🤪🧐: Well, let's see. They got here about 10 minutes ago and I already want them to leave.

Noah😍🙃: How long are they gonna be here?

Y/N🤪🧐: They're gonna sleep over tonight and leave tomorrow before I have to go to school.

Noah😍🙃: Well, good luck with that. (Good luck with that you're taking a stand, you spit imma sit we'll see where we land..... sorry I'll go.)

Y/N🤪🧐: Thanks I'm gonna need it😂

Noah😍🙃: No probs, well I gotta go. See ya tomorrow.

Y/N🤪🧐: See ya!

After I texted Noah I just played some games on my phone.
