Parents are supposed to die old. They're supposed to die happy with lots of memories with their children. They're supposed to die on seperate days. But the day my baby brother turned ten, things went terribly wrong. Smiles and singing turned to tears and screaming. We never thought it would end this way, but our small town, known only for a drug and suicide epidemic about a decade ago,was once again infamous for a freak accident leaving many injured, 3 dead, and 2 orphans.

Today was visiting day. I threw on my old Badgerette sweatshirt and sweatpants and walked next door to pick out my brothers outfit. I already know that I'm not going to be adopted, so I don't try. But Lucas is still young enough that he might. I will miss him though.

Luke was adopted by a very nice, middle class family today. I just hope his sarcasm doesn't get him sent right back here. I know there isn't a way of me seeing him for a while. His parents looked at me in disgust. I'll get him back as soon as I'm old enough.

Adoption day again, just not until noon. I threw on my PINK workout clothes and snuck out the window for dance class down the street, grabbing my crappy free phone and 7 dollars for drop in fee.

As soon as I got there I stretched and started to mimc the choreographer, getting ahead on the steps. It was to Talk Dirty by Jason Derulo. I learned the entire routine before the class knew the first eight count.

I got back late, not having enough time to shower. So I used sweat removing wipes and heavy perfume. I got down stairs tossing my curls and getting cursed at by Miss Pedygrinen. I lined up for the couples to rush through and pick out a few toddlers and glare strangely at me. But just as I was about to resort to the piano, my life changed.
