-Epilogue-
Yoojung walks through the grass, looking up at the sky sadly yet happily. The sun was up and like she had promised herself, she was going to visit him again.
The air still reeks of rain from last night and the effort in putting on a bright smile faded. There was no use in pretending to be happy when she clearly wasn't. Happiness wasn't a definition in her dictionary anymore. After he had left her broken in pieces, there was no happiness.
Yoojung didn't know why she was trying to visit the one who broke her heart. Or as she could put it, his heart. She didn't even know why she was outside in the sun. She preferred the rain and the clouds, where she had met peace and quiet.
She holds a bouquet of flowers and a small brown teddy bear. Maybe he would accept her if she brought flowers and bears. She tried once but never knew if it worked. Yoojung never knew if he forgave her for all of the mistakes she had made.
She opens the creaky gate towards his home of five years, careful not to disturb anyone or anything. Withered flowers line the fence as she walks toward him. Hopefully, the flowers she held weren't going to wither like them.
Mud thickens underneath her shoes as she walks closer to where he should be.
This home of his seemed larger than usual. Large yet empty, like the thumping of her heart. Maybe one day, if he forgave her, she would be able to live here too. One day, when the sun and moon met one another, able to grab each other.
Yoojung's heart drops when she meets him. Every muscle in her weak body becomes limp and she starts to feel dizzy. She wasn't going to let these symptoms get to her though. She needed to see him. She promised to see him.
She sits down in front of him, placing the bouquet of flowers and the small brown teddy bear beside his gravestone.
"This should have been me instead of you, Yoongi. This is all my fault." Her whispers turn into neverending tears as she leans against the stone in front of her. This place should have been her home instead of his.
But it was too late for that now.
Yoongi was now the one resting peacefully in the clouds. He was the one who made the sun come out to bring new light. He was the one who made thunder and lightning meet one another to create beautiful storms.
Yoongi was now the one who controlled the rain.

Okay, so I probably left most of you guys confused, right?
Well, here's a little explanation behind this storyline.
The slanted italics (e.g hello) at the very start of each chapter was in Yoojung's POV, therefore she was the one talking about someone (in this case, Yoongi) being gone, up in the clouds, away from her, and how she related her feelings and her whole life to the weather.
You guys realize then, that the person narrating the story after Yoojung's little passage at the start would be Yoongi. In his perspective, Yoojung (his girlfriend) talks about having three days left together, and that their last time in the rain would be that very day at the coffee shop.
Why?
Because Yoojung had a heart condition. Although I didn't put her heart condition into great detail, it does speak of Yoojung having his (Yoongi's) heart in the passages above.
So we can all assume that because Yoojung has Yoongi's heart, he obviously took his own life away so that Yoojung could live happily without worrying about her heart any longer than she should have.
If you're still confused, just ask em here and I'll try to clear anything up for you.
Until then, I hope you guys enjoyed this little short story!
thank you so much for all of your love and support <3
