"Emir..." his voice is so soft.
My eyes widen "Oh..." He comes out of nowhere really startles me. My heart beats faster, my face feels warm. I put my hand with the phone in it to calm my racing heart.

Now I'm definitely in shock "What the frog?! ... Ryan!" I whisper-yell to my left where my cousin slouching in boredom. "C'mere!"
Rayyan saunters to us "What, sis?"

He pulls two thumbs up to us before jogs to the banquet table; to stuff his own face I assume, leaving me and this boy that I know nothing real about.
