as the rain falls on the grass, jimin's tears roll down on his rosy cheeks. he couldn't help it, crying is the only thing he can do as of now. who wouldn't cry if your lover and you were close to the edge of breaking up.

everyday, jimin shreds tears.

every night, he's hurting.

but little does he know, his lover knows everything.

yoongi, who was his lover, can't even tell why and how the situation went something like this.

he still remember the times when they were still sweet that it was so addicting. he still remember the day they shared they first kiss as they confessed with each other. he can still remember when everything was still alright.

everyday, they would cross paths of course—they shared the same house. cold but pained glances can be seen and felt, warm hearts are hidden as the mind tells otherwise and harsh thoughts.

jimin would just sigh and asks himself,  "why do these things keep happening?", yoongi also wanders why.

relationship was now a glass, a fragile glass that a single touch could destroy and break it. that when someone is careless, it would just fall on the ground and shattered into pieces.

but even their relationship will break like the glass, jimin will pick the fragments piece by piece—even his hands ooze blood and he'll get hurt. he will still hold the glass carefully like it was a gem that was made to be hold like a holy object from heaven.

everytime they will sleep beside each other, a burning heart can be smelled and it's awful. the pillow would be soaked in tears as the both males close their eyes. and they were both oblivious by it.

they were blinded by the pain of yesterday.

let's just say it was yoongi's fault after all, his mistake and his own sin. it was also raining that day. yoongi broke jimin's heart when he was seen kissing a girl his lover barely knew. a scene yoongi never wished for jimin to see, or the moment yoongi regretted that ever happened. and out of all people, why his lover's eyes—that it hurts again and again to recall.

the day was supposed to be their 3rd anniversary, but shits really happen when you least expect it.

back in the present, where everything is dull and lifeless.

jimin leaned on the window and watched the rain, a scenery he used to love. because it was the weather when he met yoongi back in their college. but he don't see the rain as an art anymore as the weather was the one who witnessed everything—his cries and sorrow.

their 4th anniversary is coming, almost a year since his lover committed something he always cried for. what a bitter feeling.

"hey", the voice he used to be his favorite music but was now a broken melody. "aren't you supposed to be sleeping? it's late, c—chim." yoongi calls him by his nickname hesitantly, not even sure if it was still okay to. his voice is somehow sweet and soft, unlike their problem. full of sincerity and worry that jimin is afraid that he might cry again because of the tone.

"are you crying again?", yoongi asked and jimin kept saying 'why does he care' in his mind. jimin wants to tell his thoughts badly, he wants to ask multiple questions he didn't ask months ago, the reasons and answers. he really wants—he really needs it. so that he can repair his aching heart again. because little does yoongi know, jimin is hurting—aside from his heart, he is still hurting himself physically.

the thing he forced to stopped back then because of his boyfriend yet the reason why he continued it was his lover too.

"just sleep without me", it makes no difference at all. because even im beside you, i can't even feel it. "im fine. " why do you keep lying at me.

"i know you're not. you're crying. "

as those words were spoken, jimin finds himself wiping his cheeks, cold tears met his now paled skin. "im fine, gi. im a—alright. " how yoongi missed that name and the feeling of being called by that sweet voice of his lover's. "my eyes just hurt. that's why. " lies.

yoongi steps forward and jimin almost flinch, the older male meets his saddened gaze that was shining under the moonlight that is can be seen now as the rain stopped minutes ago. jimin waited for an answer or a reply of 'okay' as an approval and expect yoongi will just walk away.

"let's sleep together. i miss you", yoongi let himself stepped on his imaginary pride as he strolls towards the younger male. jimin somehow forgot to breathe. and little does he know, yoongi was silently crying too. "come on, let me hug you. "

as those words were thrown, jimin immediately runs towards the latter and throws himself on yoongi. it made yoongi smiles as he missed the feeling of jimin in his embrace.

"i—i miss.. —i miss you t—too", jimin was now sobbing as he tightened the hug of theirs. tears already flowing unconsciously  as their body collide with each other. and it felt many years since the last time they hug.

"don't cry, i'm sorry", yoongi then whispered to his ears, sweet nothings and soothing words followed his last phrase and jimin just nodded. "baby, look at me. "

jimin shakes his head and wipe his face with the latter's shirt. yoongi cooed inwardly as he pats his lover's shoulder and lifted his chin. "im sorry, please forgive me—let's forget what happened, yeah?", yoongi convinced. jimin, who was blinded by yoongi's presence , just nodded again and leaned on his shoulder.

yoongi smiled again. he promised to himself that he wouldn't hurt someone like jimin ever again. jimin was too good that he thinks he doesn't even deserve the younger male. the male who introduced him what love was and how it feels.

"i love you. "

silence.

yoongi lifted his chin again, closed eyes and soft snores can be heard as yoongi smiles again and carries his lover to the bed because jimin was now sleeping due to the endless crying that made him tired and weak.

"i love you so much", he whispered in his ears again, hoping the latter will hear it in his dreams. and little did he know jimin actually heard it. let's thank love.
