Normally I could stand school, but today seemed totally different. Today we learned basically the same thing, what caused the world war and how corrupted the Unknown was. It seemed like every word out of Mr. Jeffersons seemed to come out super slow. I was just about to lose my mind, when I heard the final bell. Finally.

Every little situation that could possibly happen with Mary seemed to play in my head. From us sitting on the couch to me leaning in for a kiss. I honestly don't know why the kissing one played in my head. Do I actually have a crush on her?

It was too late for an answer, I was at my house. I walked in to see her no where in sight. My heart dropped a bit. Did I actually think she would still be here? "Hey there cutie." Did she just call me cute? I turn to see here standing in my door way. I chuckled,"Hey"

"What took you so long?" She says as she takes a seat on the couch next to me. "Well I obviously have to learn why our world went to shit." She cracked a smile. I smiled back. "How's it been? I thought you disappeared of the face of the Earth."

"I guess you could say that."

"Seriously though, where've you been?"

Her smile slowly fades. She gives me this look like she wants to tell me something, but she's afraid to. "I..." She didn't get the chance to finish, there was a hard knock on the door, and by the look on Mary's face, it can't be friendly.
