I had never been this way before, but from what all of my friends had chattered about it, it shouldnt too much farther from here. I stopped and turned back after a few more minutes, looking down around my feet in the dim moon light. The trail was here just a few minutes ago. I glanced at my phone, it was 2am, and my battery flashed a warning before it quickly died.

'what the hell?' I asked myself, it felt as if I'd been walking no more than ten minutes.

I groaned under the weight of my own legs at the realization, I was abosultely screwed. I'd never finish my papers if I didnt get home right now. I looked around for a trail and quickly picked one of the many before darting off. I knew it was a stupid decision, but I was so flustered and I didnt really care. My life would be fucked without those papers. My foot caught and I stumbled falling down the inclined hill. I could hear running water and feel something cold running over my arm and over my face, and hear drums, a loud, repeating drum. My vision blacked and I layed there for god only knows how long before I gasped at therealization. The running water was blood rushing through my viens, and the drums where my beating heart. I layed there not long before I blacked out, I came to the realization, I was going to die out here. I was going to die out here alone and paralyed.

I groaned and rolled over, shocked I was finally able to move again, I whimpered as I turned back over, my arm was on fire. I began to open my eyes, but I wasnt sure I was prepared to see the woods again. It'd make being here all to real. A sharp whine coursed through me again. My arm was more than likely sprained. My fingers layed at either sides of my hips and raked through what ever they could find, I gave a small gasp in shock. I traced my fingers through it again. It was soft, and plush, like fur. I opened one eye slightly and my breath froze mid way frommy mouth.

I was in a small circular room, with a fire in the middle of the floor, it reminded me of the indian teepee you'd see at a muesem or in a western movie. A younger looking woman stood next to a pot of soup like liquid in a pot.

'You're....' She thought about what to say for a moment 'a-wayke?' She asked as if the words tasted wrong on her tongue.

'Um, yes?' I asked looking around and trying to stand. I had been stripped of my coat which layed on a stubbed branch on one of the poles that appeared to be holding this place up. 'Where am I?' I asked slowely, but not slow enough as to insult her.

'Redstone.' She said with a very bright smile, she turned to face me, with a small bowl in her hand. 'You, eat' She said smiling.

'Thankyou, but-' My words where cut short by a loud growling coming from my stomach. 'But what... Whats in it?' I ask quietly, still scared to offend this woman.

She put the bowl in my hand and I ate quietly, still trying to figure out where I was. I stood with bowl to my lips and slowely slipped on it. It tasted better than anything I'd ever eaten in my entire life. I got to the door way and pushed back the curtain like material and looked around, my eyes widened in horror. We sat on a hill, with dozens of other huts around us, and trees, for as far as the eye could see. No sign of the campus, nothing that hinted we where within miles of any form of civilization.

I fell to my knees and gasped. I had been kidnapped, I had been kidnapped and brought to some freak show off in the middle of the woods. I could speak, and im not sure I wanted to. What was I to do?
