Part 2

*four hours later*

I stepped out of the bus and prepared myself for the short but frightening walk along the dark road, to the factory. The building appeared in the distance and it looked even scarier at night than during daytime. I kept taking step by step and finally I stood in front of the big gate, which had probably been the exit for trucks before they closed the factory. I looked around and felt a shiver down my spine when I heard a door being shut. Please let that be V, I thought and shakily asked into the darkness: "Is that you, Tae?" A well-known voice a few meters behind me said "You're so cute when you're anxious." I swirled around and felt so relieved when I made out V's body in the dark. Instantly, I ran towards him and threw myself into his arms. "I was so close to losing my mind", I said reproachfully, "so don't make me do that a second time." "You didn't have to come, (y/n).", he tried to make excuses. "Ah come on, you are aware of my curiousness and know that I can't resist your stupid ideas." Taehyung laughed softly while taking my hand and leading me towards a side entrance which I didn't notice before. "Do we really have to go inside?", I asked quietly as he let go of my hand. "I'll always stay by your side, I'll protect you.", he tried to comfort me as he opened the door.
My steps blew up the dust and a certain smell hit me when I entered the building, so I instinctively moved closer to my company. "Why did you choose this location to meet up with me?", I wanted to know from him. He thought for a few second and then answered: "I didn't want to do the random stuff we always do. Not that I don't like it, it's just not as exciting and...", he paused and considered saying something but then didn't. "And..?", I tried to encourage him to further explain why we were here. V stopped walking and turned to me. His facial expression was undefinable but the way he looked into my eyes was tender and sorrowful at the same time. "I wanted this night to be special,", he said under his breath and started walking again. I didn't want to make the situation more awkward as it already was, so I kept the questions to myself.
