"I hate him. I hate him. I hate him.", Umul screeches in Gayatri 's ear. Then she takes out her cell-phone and calls the person she hated the most in the world (at that point). "Hello", the guy on the other end answered. "I hate you. I hate you. I hate you.", Umul yells at him too and hangs up. "I take it things are dandy with you too.", Gayatri mutters sarcastically. "Yeah right.", Umul made a sour face and ordered her coffee. "Well then let's talk about something pleasant. How's work?", Gayatri asked hoping to distract umul and her self.
Umul looked at her and smiled, glad she had Gayatri to talk to, "Work is amazing. Trust me." Gayatri smiled back, "See. Something is going nice. Now tell me what happened with Daksh?" Umul sighed, "I honestly don't know. Everytime I think we are getting close something comes up and ruins it. I really like him but he doesn't seem to get a hint. I don't know what to do."
Umul was always confused when it came to Daksh. It didn't matter that she had known him for more than five years. Didn't matter that he was one of her best friend or that she knew him like she knew her self. When they fought everything went to hell. They both ignored each other, bitched about each other and practically gave up. It was always this hard. She didn't know now what to do. He was him and that was the only reason she couldn't ever let him go.
"Snap out of it.", Gayatri told Umul, "I am going to set you up and you aren't going to say no." "I can't go on blind dates.", Umul said. "Why not? You have given enough time to Daksh and he doesn't deserve you.", Gayatri said warily. She knew Umul was head over heels for Daksh. But as her friend, Gayatri knew she had waited for him long enough. "Fine. Maybe you are right. Well then set me up.", Umul sighed. She knew Gayatri was speaking the truth and maybe she should accept the fact that Daksh would never be with her. "Perfect.", Gayatri grinned and they drifted of to unimportant topics.
