Rise, Rose, Risen {Poofless}

Rob's pov

I woke up to the usual ringing of my phone. My eyes fluttered open and I started to sit up on my warm bed. I checked my phone, no notifications, which isn't a surprise. I have some time before I need to leave for school. I decide to get up and walk to my dresser. I pick out a blue hoodie and some black jeans and go put them on. I hear my phone bling, which scares the living tulips out of me and I walk to my phone to find that my best friend (and only friend) Vik had sent me a message.

Hai duud. U coming out?

Ye ye. I'm coming

I quickly put on my sneakers and grab my bag and go downstairs and out the door to greet Vik.

"You're finally out" Vik mocked when I walked to him. "Pretty sure I already told you I was gay" I joked. Vik laughed and we made our way to school.

I looked outside of our school, relieved. I didn't see James or his "gang" around anywhere. They bully me and Vik since we're openly gay. Vik is much more smaller than me so I tend to take most of their hits when they decide to beat us up. "We have our first period soon, let's go" Vik said while walking closer to the school doors. We headed in and to our classroom dodging James and the others.

We made our way to the edge of the class. We sit there because all the 'cool' kids sit in the back and we just prefer to be on the side. Few minutes later most of the class was there and our teacher Mr. Haydes came up to me and Vik. We looked at each other concerned thinking what had we done. "Mr. Barn and Mr. Latsky please head to the principal's office". I gulped and quickly went out of the room with Vik in hopes no one saw us leave.

"Why do we need to go to the office?" I wondered out loud. "No clue" Vik responded sounding kinda frightened. "Are you alright Vikky?" I questioned worried about him. "I- I don't kn-now" Vik muttered out. I stopped as did he and I just hugged him and rubbed his back. I felt bad for him, he got scared so easily and I knew how strict his parents were. I could hear him sniff a bit. I stopped hugging him and looked him in the eyes. He is so adorable, I thought to myself. I wiped his tears away with my thumb and we kept walking to the office.

When we arrived to the small office our principal was there with six boys. Vik and I looked at each other a bit confused but then our principal interrupted our thinking "Mr. Barn and Mr. Latsky, thank you for coming. Here are Preston Arsement, Mitchell Hughes, Jerome Aceti, Lachlan Power, Brandon Clemets and Mathew Nucciarone". I could see Vik panicking a bit, he doesn't like to be around a lot of people and I can imagine being in a small place like this was bad for him. "They're new here and you'll show them around. They have the same schedule as you, now go" the principal finished shooing us away from the office.

We stepped out the office and I straight went to Vik who looked like he'll pass out. "Vikky, deep breaths. You're fine, nothing bad will happen." I comforted him. "Uhh... What's going on?" The tall blonde Lachlan asked. I looked at Vik who was still pale but getting better and he nodded. "Well... Vik here doesn't like to be around a lot of people so that small office was hell for him" I said bluntly. The guys' faces turned into worry quickly. "It's fine, I'm fine. Just too hot in the small room" Vik said so they wouldn't look so worried. "Must be because of me" a tall brunette guy Mitch said. Soon the guy, Jerome next to him slapped his arm. "Hey! You're my one and only Bacca and you know it" Mitch said to Jerome. "Bacca?" I questioned from them. "Mitch calls Jerome Bacca and Jerome calls Mitch Benja" Mathew explained. "Oooh" me and Vik said synchronized. "You're actually adorable together!" Brandon shouted and me and Vik started laughing our butts off. "Together?! Me and Vikky!?" I laughed. "You do look like you're together..." Preston said shyly. "Never" Vik blurted out after he got himself together.

After Vik was feeling better again we started to talk to the guys while showing them around. "So why and how are you all here now?" Vik asked the group of guys. "We all live together and we needed a fresh start" Mitch explained to us. "I don't think we properly catched your names unless Vikky can be counted as one" Jerome said smiling at us. "I'm Robert but call me Rob and this little cinnamon boy is Vikram but call him Vik" I introduced us. "Dude, did you just call me 'little cinnamon boy'?!" Vik grumbled at me. "Maybe, but baby you love it" I said acting like a poet. Everyone started laughing. "Oh and call me Matt instead of Mathew and Mitch instead of Mitchell." Matt chirped happily.

After we were done showing the guys around it was time for all of us to go home. We exchanged numbers with the guys and went our separate ways.
