After that whole sludge thing, I walked home talking a serpentine procedure. You know, cause I don't want some news network to just show up at my apartment.
When I did get home, the moment I opened the door I was hug-tackled by a little white-haired girl. If you're wondering, this is Eri a girl that I adopted as my 'daughter' since she didn't have anywhere else to go. Which really reminds me of the first time I met her.

Flashback ~ 1 year ago
As I was walking home with groceries in my hands, I heard a girl's scream coming from a nearby alleyway. As my instincts kicked in, I immediately rushed towards the alley, but careful to not drop any of the freshly bought groceries.
When I arrived at the alley, I saw a white-haired girl with a horn on the right side of her forehead running away from a man with short, black hair and a black beak over the lower half of his mouth. (look up Chisaki or Overhaul.)
"Help Me!" The little girl screamed as she ran behind me and grabbed my leg.
"Hey, what's going on here?" I asked the beaked man. 'Obviously, this guy is a villain. No doubt about that, but this girl must have some powerful quirk or is the daughter of a villain.'
"Nothing wrong kid, I'm just playing with my niece here. Now come on Eri." He said while doing a 'follow me' motion with his hand, but the now-named Eri just shook her head and gripped my leg tighter.
"Sorry sir, but Eri doesn't seem she wants to go with you. So, I'll just give her to someone who'll actually take care of her, not a villain like you, Overhaul." I said while my hair shadowed my eyes and started to make my way out of the alley.
"You're ... Are ... Dead ..." Overhaul said as he rushed towards me and reached his hand for my face.
"Witch Time."
I transformed into my Umbran Witch form and used Witch Time to slow everything down as I aimed the gun in my right hand to Overhaul's forehead and the one in my left to his chest, right above his brain and heart respectively. When time resumed normally, all I said was, "What was that?"
