Chapter 2:

The voice surprises me, making me feel worse. I suddenly start to see black. My day sure is going great.

I don't answer him. I feel like if I open my mouth, all the puke is going to come springing out of my guts. He asks me once more. I try to stand without the wall but I tip over hanging on him and I throw up onto him.

When I realize what happened, I gasp shockingly and stumble backwards, basically slamming myself onto the wall again. For some reason, I couldn't really control my thinking. It was sort of slowed down.

"I'm so sorry!" I shout out embarrassed.

"Hey lady. What the heck was that for!? Do you know how much this costs!?" the guy yells.

I look up at him as he looks at me greatly irritated. He looks very familiar but his face is blurry but I could tell he is very handsome.

"Um no?" I slur.

Seriously, what's happening to me?

"Half a million. You gonna pay for that? Looking at you, you don't seem like you can come up with that much at all."

Really? Just had to throw that out there like you are better than everybody else. He must be one of those rich spoiled children who thinks they're better and can have anything they want.

"Um..."

My mind was going blank. I stumble forward again and he catches me. I didn't think he would but he did. I could feel the warmth radiating off of him.

Footsteps approach us and I nearly faint again. I just sigh heavily, glad that I just might not throw up again.

"Kara!"

I heard my name, but it was too distant. I could hear footsteps stomping the ground quickly coming towards me. Before I fall again, I feel some tightness and then someone pulling me away.

"This your little friend Vince?" The guys asks very irritated.

I could still hear their voices echoing distantly. I knew they were talking about me. He probably hates me because I threw up on him. I hope I never see him again and I probably won't even.

"She's my best friend, Marcus." Vince spits out, emphasizing best friend. "Thanks for finding her... and ew... Was that her?"

"Obviously. This is very annoying. It was my favorite. She owes me."

"No! She doesn't owe you."

Was that important? I got his suit dirty, more than dirty. I mean like, who wants their suit to be full of puke and smelling like it too? Who wants their clothes to smell at all?

I feel myself dragged away before the conversation continued. Vince would look down at me occasionally. His grip would tighten around my waist and knees and shoulders but mine would loosely hang from his shoulder. I feel so tired.

"Sorry Kara. We should've just gone together. What's wrong with you anyways? It's as if you're drunk. But I know you'd never drink." Vince says concerned.

I mumble something incoherently and he just laughs.

By the time I realize my surroundings, I am in a car. The road is bumpy yet smooth and I could feel warmth from the side. Did I pass out for a bit?

I look up to see Vince. His wavy blonde hair gently glides across his deep green eyes. The shadow on his face makes him look even more muscular and outstanding. I look in awe until he looks down at me.

"You're awake?"

"Um yeah? What happened?"

"You got drunk."
