Chapter 1

Lauren's P.O.V

" LAUREN IM LEAVING ILL BE BACK IN 2 WEEKS!" My dad yells at me from downstairs because I'm still in bed.

"Dad wait!" I shout while going downstairs. I run up to him and hug him saying goodbye, not taking a lot of his time because hell miss his flight.

" Be a good girl don't get into to much trouble oh and your aunt will come to check up on you." my dad tells me sounding a little rushed.

"Okay father ill be a good girl, now go because you're gonna miss your flight!" I tell my dad with a little laughter.

"Okay bye ill call you to see how things are going love you." my dad hugs me and walks out the door getting in the car and slowly drives away from the drive way.

"FINALLY the house is all mine." I tell myself with excitement.

I get my phone and text my bestfriend Jessica.

Me:Hey Jess house is all mine come over😝

Jess:Ill be there in a few minutes! Oh & get ready because we're going to the mall!🌚

I didn't reply after that I just went up stairs and got in the shower. After I got out the shower I went to my room and put my clothes on that I had laying down on bed. I put on some black high wasted shorts and a plain white muscle tee with my black vans. I headed back to the bathroom and blowed dried my hair, straightened it and put some makeup on.

*Knock Knock*

I heard Jess knock so I got my phone and purse and headed downstairs. I opened the door and greeted Jess as we walked to the car. I saw a moving truck pass by but I ignored it because I didn't really find it important.

We got to the mall and started shopping. When we were going inside H&M I saw my stepsister Ana with her little friends staring at me and Jess. I ignored it even though I really don't get along with any of them, she might be my moms stepdaughter but I still don't like her.

"Hey! Lauren" Ana says with her fake voice walking up to me.

"What do you want now?" I told her sounding a little ticked off.

"I just wanted to give you and jess an invitation to my birthday 16th birthday party Saturday, hope you can make it." Ana hands me her pink glittery invitation with her picture on it.

"Oh thanks I wouldn't miss it for a thing." I tell her sarcastically.

I start walking away from her and heard Jess tell me. "Are you gonna go?" Jess asks me.

"It's not like I have a choice." I tell her walking out the mall to the parking lot.

We went home and I saw that moving truck next door that I saw earlier but I didn't try to figure out who it was because it was probably a family with little kids.

"Hey Jess you should stay over for a few days like I said I have the house by my self" I tell Jessica.

"Yeah sure ill just tell my parents" Jess agrees.

I handed Jess some clothes for we to sleep in. We were downstairs and put on Netflix and ordered some pizza to go with Mean Girls.

When we were finished watching mean girls we started to watch different movies. My eyes started to get heavy and next thing you know I was knocked out on the floor sleeping, I got to admit the floor was pretty comfy or I was just tired.
