"James where are you? James." A old mans voice spoke. "Where is that cat?"
James slowly followed the old man and then pounced on the the man's pant's. The old man smiled as he said, "There you are you cat. Why are you behind me silly?"
The cat just rubbed his head on the man's leg want the man's attention. The man picked up the cat and started to pet the top of the cat's head. The little kitty started to purr. The man smiled and set the cat down on the table as the man went to the fridge. He opened the fridge and pulled out milk. He then went to the cupboard to get a tiny bowl.
The cat was sitting on the table licking it's paw waiting patiently for the milk he wanted very badly. The old man set the bowl of milk on the table for the cat and the cat leaned down and slurped up the milk quickly. While the cat was drinking the milk the man slow rubbed the cat's head head.
The cat finished the milk and hopped off the table James's tail swaying in the air as he walked happily to his bed on the floor. His tail wrapped around his body.James's head almost under his body. The cat took a cat nap for a bit.
James woke up to a loud knock on the door. His ears twitched while he laid there, listening intently to what was going on around him. "Give me a moment." The man walked from down stairs to the door as he opened it.
The cat opened his eyes lying still. James saw two small creatures walk in and he quickly went out the door to protection. The cat sat on the roof watching the old man greeting the small creatures. The cat saw someone like the old man but much younger. The man welcomed them in and shut the door after the walked in.
The cat hopped off the roof and landed on the bright green grass in the yard. The cat sniffed the ground then laid down on the ground and relaxed a bit. James didn't want anything to do with the creatures that was inside so he soon got up and wandered around the neighborhood. Once he walked home he didn't hear the creatures playing and running around the house, instead he heard the old man calling for him. The cat slowly walked up to the house and lightly scratched the door to be let in. The old man let James in and leaned down to pick him up.
The man then walked off into the living room and sat down the cat in the man lap as he stroke James's fur. The cat fell asleep on the man's lap and the man fell asleep in the chair.
While they both slept the cat heard the front door swing open and two people with their heads covered with a ski mask walked into the house holding guns.
The cat got off the man's lap and stalked the uninvited guests. The cat saw them put a bag on the man's bed and they soon started to search through the house anything that seemed valuable they put in the bag.
The cat sat in the doorway licking it's paw, waiting for the people to notice him. When they finished looking through the room they went to walk out but saw the cat in the doorway. One of the people reached down to "pet" the cat, but the cat had better intentions. The cat looked up at the man and opened its mouth. The man pulled his hand away and kicked James down the hallway.
The people heard someone cocking a shotgun and then saw the old man. "Put down the bag and sit on the bed children we need to have a talk." The man said smiling at the cat.
The people sat on the bed afraid that the old man was going to shoot them. He walked into the hallway and picked up james. "You guys are so rude. My cat wanted to say hello and you kicked him. You came here to steal from me which is a mistake. Another mistake that you made was kicking my cat. You two sit here and i'll get my phone."
The old man walked out and just a few minutes later he came back, the people still on the bed. The man spoke in a soft and sinister tone, "I have a better idea. James why don't you have some dinner. Whatever you don't finish i will." The man licked his lips.
