We had arrived at our new house.
It was was an old farm house right outside a small town called Tilo, it was painted completely black. It made me feel sad.
"Dad" i whined "why is it painted black?"
"Well the people before us must of liked it sweetie."
"It makes me feel sad, wont it look creepy at night?" I shivered at the thought. I didnt want to be out in rhe middle of no where. He chuckled and nodded.
"I guees so, maybe we can paint it once we are settled in."
"Can we paint it pink?!" I could imagine it now, a big pink dollhouse all the new girls at my school would want to come over.
"Pink?" He laughed and looked at my mom then back at me. "I dont think so hunny. Maybe a red, would that be okay?"
I didn't think red would be okay. I wanted a pink house, but maybe if it rained or stormed enough the color would fade so i guess that worked.
"I guess." As dad parked I ran out of the car forgetting about my stupid bags and flew into the new house.
It was old. Really old, the smell reminded me of visiting my grandpa at the nursing home. Everything seemed grim, and darker than normal my nose crinkled in disgust.
Of course it would smell and look gross and old. William had ran in directly behide me.
"It smells like death, its probably haunted Willow! You know what that means?" His eyes gleamed and he bounced up and down on the heels of his feet. "We can finally use ghost buster kit Aunt Caroline got us!!"
"I totally forgot about that!! Get it!"
William and I raced up the stairs, him holding the kit in his hand.
"Here Agent Stream, you need your ghost handcuffs, just in case." William handed me the cuffs.
"Okay lets start with my room." William nodded and we headed off the second bigest bedroom, mine being the youngest had its perks.
We rounded the dark corner and suddenly we're in complete darkness. I could only see a fog cloud where i breathed.
"Do you feel that William? Its cold a ghost must be near! Ready the ghost catcher we need to test their particals into our dog formula!" I heard the low zap of the ghost catcher as it charged up.
"Thank you Aunt Caroline." William whispered from beside me. "Theze nasty buggers stand no chance." We finally had arrived at my door.
I nudged the dark purple burnt looking door open with my foot. And gasped as the sight before me unfolded.
Ghost. Everywhere.
The main ghosts heads snapped towards us and it let out a blood cruling laugh. I shivered and looked at my brother. His face showed no fear.
"Freeze you nasty beast. You have no business here anymore." He lifted the ghost catcher and grinned . "As my father says 'eat my dust'." I giggled at his random saying. As the ghost catcher flung a net at the ghost . It hit in seconds and took the beast to the ground, the other quickly disappeared into the walls in a hurry terrified that their leader was captured.
"Okay William lets get him to the attic. We have lab test to run."
We marched off to the new lab, ghost dragging behind us as our parents got busy unpacking our new house.
