Beep! Beep! Beep!

Another day in the "perfect" life of Juliette Michaels has begun. I grab my clothes and head into the bathroom to change so I can go for my early morning run. As usual my sister has already left on hers. We used to run together but now that she's in college she thinks she's to cool for me. It's not unusual for my siblings to avoid me. Especially after what happened. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me start from the beginning.

"Hey Jules wake up."
My sister, Lani, shook me awake to go on our usual morning run. We both run track and field at our local high school Claremont High. She is a Senior, and a varsity team member. She is your typical straight A student. She has taken countless AP classes and has still managed to letter in track all four years. I'm on varsity too but I'm only a Freshman. Everybody says I'll end up exactly like her. And maybe I will. But she's not hiding a secret.

As we get home from our run our mom is up and cooking breakfast for all the kids. There's 5 of us in total. It's Lani, James, and me. James is Junior and plays Varsity Football and Soccer. He's a captain this year. Mom said her and Dad were in love when all 3 of us were born, but that after I turned three my Dad decided he wanted to live his life without kids. So he packed up and left leaving my mom with three kids who were 7, 6, and 4 years old. She did really well with us on her own for about 5 years and then she met Michael. We all liked him well enough in the beginning. And he seemed to like us. So after about 6 months of dating they got married. Mom got pregnant with the twins Lillian and Michelle about 3 months later and here we are 5 years later looking liking the perfect family. Don't get me wrong, we have a lot of nice things. I mean Mom is an RN and Michael is a Lawyer. So we're pretty well off. I have a nice phone and an iPod, my own room and a debit card that gets $250 on it each month. So I'm not wanting for anything. There are just something's that money can't buy.

Anyways, breakfast always wakes up the little ones and they just started preschool this year.

"Jay!!!!!" I hear the squeals of delight as I eat some toast and eggs.

"Hey baby girls" I say with a smile. " How's it going munchkins?"

"Great we got ourselves dressed this morning!" They said in unison. "When do you leave for school?"

"In a b-"

My mother cuts me off " Right now or JB will be late for her first class" she says with a smile. My mom is the best woman alive.

As me and Lani walk in the front doors we're both pulled in opposite directions to our desperate friend groups. Whilst we are close Lani's friends don't want to be seen with a Freshman. But it's okay cause I do like my friends better.

As my friends and I walk to 1st period I get the text message that I hope and pray everyday I won't get

"I will be picking you up for lunch"

A/N:

Hey y'all! So this is my first story ever! I'm excited about it. Sorry if it seems kind of boring but I'm setting some background for it. So the next instalment will be a bit more interesting because well you'll get a hint as to what exactly Juliette's big secret is.

Anyways feedback (negative or positive since both help) is much appreciated! So please tell me what you think so far.
