Warmth that's the first feeling I can remember.

I was a hatching born high in the mountains. Somewhere east or west I think. Most of the year The mountains were treacherous. Cold winds rush in with little moisture with the air so thin most struggle to breath. They were so quite you could hear the wind sing. Spring was beautiful thought, the trees would blossom pretty pink flowers with a heavenly fragrance.

"Awwk?" I snapped my eyes open. I saw lots of bright white even slightly glowing feathers they looked different to my mother's golden orange ones. I also took note of the foreign surroundings.

'Hatching what are you doing here?'

I just stared at the bird. After a few moments of awkward silence. I spoke up.

"I dunno, and what are you?"I scramble up a branch In a attempt to get it's eye level 'cause to his freakish stork hight, "You're not a phoenix right?"

'Calm down youngin I'm a caladrius, I go by the name by the name of Alulus.'

' Then, Alulus do you know if I have a name?' What

"A name, I don't know? If your looking for where your family try flying north, I heard a lot phoenixes roost there." Alulus was about ready to take off to somewhere far away. Wait a moment.

"How far should I GO!" I rasied my voice but the "caladrius" was disappearing into the the afternoon sky.

"How far can you make it petty little hatching?"

I will fly beyond your imagination.
