Hearing Bernard groan in pain, Ted immediately got off him and assisted the man back on his feet. "Are you okay?" he asked while dusting the dirt off Bernard's clothes.

"Ted, you..."

"Yes, he's no longer mad at you," Fandi confirmed. "Come in, Bernard ge. Ge has been going crazy in the kitchen because of the missing ingredients."

"Here." Bernard handed Fandi the paper bag. "Luckily there wasn't anything breakable in there, or else..."

"The big butt would have crushed it," Fandi mocked.

"Hey! Don't point everything at my assets. They are innocent."

"As innocent as two bunnies going at it for the nth time." Fandi smirked.

"You are a sick boy," Ted complained.

"You're sicker for pretending to trip in order to steal a kiss from your Bernard ge."

"I...didn't. I really did trip on my slippers. I wouldn't do such a thing to Bernard on purpose."

Indeed, you wouldn't, Ted. Bernard felt his heart drop at the thought of Ted's rejection. You hate me after all. Feeling the familiar pricking in his eyes, Bernard knew he had to get away before the tears started flowing. "I...should go."

"What?" Ted immediately grabbed hold of Bernard's wrist and dragged him inside. Quickly shutting the door and locking it, he pressed his back against the wooden barrier to block Bernard from leaving. "No one is leaving this gathering without eating my ge's food. He woke us all up early in the morning while tackling all the preparations. It's rude to leave," Ted panted and shouted, "understand?"

Zack quickly nodded, while Bernard stared in shock.

"Ted, you are scaring our guests," Fandi protested.

"S-Sorry," Ted apologized.

Fandi reached over to the cabinet to grab a pair of turtle slippers and handed them to Zack. "My ge got these for you."

"Wow, they are so cute." Eyes sparkling at the adorable fluffy footwear, Zack slipped out of his tennis shoes and into the soft turtles.

Ted mimicked Fandi's action and pulled out Bernard's slippers from the cabinet. "Here. Put these on."

"Are you sure?" Bernard stared in puzzlement.

"Please," Ted pleaded.

"All right." Bernard freed himself from his sandals and stepped into his bunnies.

Seeing that Ted and Bernard were seemingly getting along, Fandi gave Zack's hand a light tug to signal that it was time to give them some space. "I'll take the ingredients to ge," Fandi informed while waving the bag in his hand.

Ted gasped. "Wait, Fandi! Don't go in there."

"Why not?"

"Ge is busy."

"I know he is. That's why I'm trying to help as much as possible. I'm really looking forward to tonight dinner."

"No!" Ted grasped Fandi's arm to stop him from proceeding. "That's not it."

"Then, what?"

"Just don't disturb them for the time being. I saw them kissing at first."
