It was the next day after Hailey (Sandro's fiance) got her surgery. At first we thought she wouldn't survived.

It looks like a cliché movie scene wherein the main character always survive after a massive tragedy, so I guess she's the main character, but she's not cliché!

Yes, she survived. It was a miracle.

She's such a strong woman and my kuya Sandro is lucky to have her. They are both lucky to have each other.

A while ago we got her out of the hospital and for now she's still recovering. Sandro insist that Hailey will stay in our house while recovering.

"WELCOME BACK!" We all shouted in unison. Hailey's seated on the wheelchair and there's Sandro accompanying her. They both stood froze behind the door. There were shock in their eyes.

"Thank you guys. You're awesome." Hailey said and plastered a smile on her face while holding Sandro's hand.

"No, you are awesome. See what you did yesterday? We thought you wouldn't survive. But you did. You're unbelievable." Sandro said

They're like the most clingy couple ever. And it makes me vomit.

"Psh." I playfully rolled my eyes like a girl who was disgusted. I pretended as if I'm going to vomit in front of them. And Hailey's family together with my family laughed.

"Ikaw, Simon?" My mom asked

"What about me?" I raised a brow

"When am I going to meet your girlfriend? Aba'y wala ka pang pinapakilala sakin." She asked and crossed her arms

Vincent laughed sarcastically and said "He doesn't even have a girlfriend"

"Single!" Sandro teased and the rest followed

"Shut up" And they became silent

"Okay. I'm single. I don't care if I have a girlfriend or not, because me having no girlfriend doesn't make my masculinity lower."  I said, "She will come, some day."

They all looked at me, "You know what guys, let's just eat." Sandro cleared the silent air and called the maids "Ate, what do we have there on the table?" He asked

We all walked towards the table to have dinner

It's midnight and I'm watching netflix on the television. My parents and Hailey's family were asleep. It seems like I'm the only one that's still up.

But I was wrong, I heard few whispers upstairs. I'm eavesdropping, so I looked and saw Sandro and Hailey upstairs infront of his room. I made it sure that they won't notice me staring at them, so I pretended that I'm not listening to them. But I do.
