The corridor is busy today. Some students are heading to their next class, while others are going to have their lunch. Me? I'm heading off to my favorite class, Music. The only class I shared with my crush, Jihoon.
What? Cupid needs his Psyche, you know.
Well, in this case, I'm Cupid. We switched roles.
I sat a few seats away from him. Don't want to be too near him or I would surely do something embarrassing.
I watch him scribble words on his notepad while listening to some music. It was this same view I saw when I first met him a year ago. He was a transfer student from Busan.
Wondering why Cupid doesn't seem close with her Psyche? The master when it comes to love advices and such?
Well, I have this principle. Funny as it sounds, I believe in fate. And that's what I apply to myself when it comes to my 'love life'. I just let what the world wants to happen between me and Jihoon. If we're destined, then that's great. But I won't go and do what I usually say to those people who ask me for help. Honestly, most of my advices are just from romance novels that I read.
I don't approach him because I believe in the power that controls the future. Fate. If we're meant to be close, no matter how I tried to ignore him and pretend as if I don't care about him, fate would make sure that we're the one meant for each other at the end of the day. It would always find a way.
Funny right? I can just easily talk to him right now, but this principle of mine is what I'm holding onto.
And I don't know why, but I felt like we're fated to end up with each other.
So I'll just sit here and let fate do its thing. What could go wrong, right?
I turned my gaze to my right side, where a huge window is located. Giving of a perfect view of the school field. I saw some students went by the tree I usually hangout on, expecting to see me there. I just laughed. Im sorry guys, I gotta see my Psyche. I wont miss this subject. You gotta have to wait.
I shook my head, finding my thoughts ridiculous. A loud commotion from a pair of boys entered the room.
Jihoon's friends.
They saw him and they started their fist bump thing. They're really loud, which isn't surprising.
The thing with Jihoon and his friends are, they're famous. Players of the school basketball team and part of a known band in this city. They're really talented.
Honestly, I find their group annoying. They sometimes act like they're superior. But that's it. Other than that, they're perfectly fine.
Everyone sat as soon as our music teacher entered. While I throw glances at Jihoon.
Halfway to our class, our teacher left to get something. Everyone is in their own worlds.
"Y/N, will you help me?" I looked up to see a girl that I've talked to multiple times.
"For Min Yoongi again?" I asked. She shook her head as she took a seat beside me.
"Actually, it's for my friend. She doesn't want her identity to be known so she asked me to talk to you instead. And about Yoongi oppa, he accepted the cookies I baked for him. Though he hasn't talked to me yet. But oh well, atleast he accepted it right?" She babbled.
"So what does your friend need?" I put my pen down and focused at her. To make it seem like I'm serious with all of these.
"Well, she had a fight with her boyfriend, and accused him of things. Which he didn't do at all. She can be possessive at times" she whispered the last part "and so, she wants to make it up to him. What should she do? She said she doesn't know how to deal with it"
Why start it in the first place if she can't even deal with it? Aigoo. Girls these days.
I honestly have nothing to say about it as of this moment. This can't be good. I need an excuse.
"Hmm.. that's a tough one. I have to think of more effective ways first. Give me a day and I'll tell it to you tomorrow. Sounds alright?" I said and she nodded with a big smile.
"Take your time!" She said "By the way, in return she'll cook you your lunch for three days"
Now that got me im the mood to think of a better solution to her problem.
"Thank you! I'll message you tomorrow morning on what she should do, alright?" She nodded, still smiling.
"Alright. Thank you, Y/N! You're literally the best!" She bowed at me before going back to her seat. She said it in a kind of loud voice, making some students look at us. I saw Jihoon's friend laughing at my direction.
"She's back at it again with that cupid bullsht" the two of them laughed, while Jihoon stayed silent and just continued writing.
I ignored them. They don't matter. As long as Jihoon doesn't find me weird, I have no problem at all.
Well anyways, I gotta read some articles later when I get home. It has to be effective or else my image will be ruined.
