A long day has passed,

Marked by the falling sun,

Visible behind glass

One would think that

A sunset would be fun,

Rather the wind's chill

Settles peacefully

Snow falls, and by night,

It blankets the barren landscape

From a shattered view

I am trapped in a prison

Within an abandoned house

And yet the darkening sky

Puts a smile on

My cold, blue, lifeless lips

From my glass prison

I stare ahead like always,

Forever forced to watch

The scenery that I so enjoy
