Dear Diary. It was 3:15 in the morning and I couldn't stop thinking about that bookshelf. It was mainly because of that vision. That was the only time in my life that I had seen anything so drastic. It had me thinking, what if this vision could've linked me to my mother, but this couldn't be. I didn't think that was possible. I don't believe in those type of things. Even though I haven't talked to or seen my mother in 5 years, that vision meant a lot to me. I was up until 5:00am when I heard footsteps thumping against the hardwood floor outside of my room.
I quickly pulled my diary under the sheets and pretended to be asleep. My father barged into my room and shook me until I woke up. Then he said, " I am going out of town today, so Mama Matilda will take care of you for 5 days. Please do not call or contact me." As I stared into his dreadful eyes I exclaimed, "What do you mean don't contact you! What if you spend more than 5 days? What will I do then?" " I'm a grown man Sasha I'll be fine," he said. I thought about what he said deeply, and when I thought he was coming in for a hug, I opened up my arms, but he was really just trying to pick a dust out of my alarm clock behind of my head. As he left the room, without looking back he said, "Make sure to clean up your room today, it's really... dusty."
As he slammed the door on his way out I murmured, "Who in the world is Sasha?" But at that point all I could think of was my father not being here, and I wouldn't have anyone bossing me around for 5 whole days. At that moment, I was the most happiest princess in the world. This was the best early birthday present my father could've ever given me. (Well to be honest, he never has given me any gifts for my birthday, furthermore he has never told me happy birthday, or acknowledged it was my birthday. But I mean there's always a first time for everything. )As I danced out of my bed, I got ready for the day. As a princess, I wasn't allowed to leave the palace, but today I wanted to adventure I wanted to see the world. With my father going out of town, this dream could possibly come true.
As I tried to sneak out of the castle, I realized I had one huge problem. I didn't know where the exit of the palace was. I searched and searched until I got lost, gave up, found my way back and searched some more. I had been searching for almost 3 hours until I had found it. I had actually found it. I really did. I was so proud and I felt like I achieved something that no one else could. As I ran to the door like a bird flying out of its cage to meet its freedom, my dreams were suddenly crushed.
Mama Matilda ran in front of the door and spread her arms out wide. I had learned from my mistake and I knew she wasn't giving me a hug. She was trying to block me from leaving the castle. "Where do you think your going," she exclaimed as she pointed at me and backed me up to the corner of the wall. "I love you very much Ruby, but I once let someone I loved very much leave and they never came back, therefore as your godmother I refuse to leave you go especially if I can stop you from leaving." "But....but..... please Mama Matilda. You know how much I always wanted to adventure the outside world. Is there anyway at all that I can go outside?" I pleaded. Mama Matilda dazed into the air, placed her hands on her hips and tapped her feet against the floor. She hesitated to answer about 5 times then she finally screamed, " NO!"
She kissed my forehead and turned me around and told me to go to my room and relax, while she goes to do some work in her office. I walked up to my room surprisingly happy. Even though I couldn't have gone outside I still didn't have to worry about my father and that made me extremely excited. As I danced up the stairs and into my room, I closed my door, and began to write. I was going to that bookshelf once again, but this time I wrote a note, and taped it onto my door. The note made it 99.98% clear I did not want to be disturbed. I did this only so I could spend more time solving the bookshelf mystery. The note I wrote said:
Dear Viewer,
I would just like to inform you that I would not like to be disturbed as long as this paper is taped onto my door. If you do decide to open this door, I will refrain from talking to you again FOREVER. ( I don't really mean that- cause I may still need some donuts- BUT still don't open this door) Thank you for complying with my rules and regulations. Have an amazing day, and there is a part especially for Jimmy .
P.S *If you are not Jimmy no need to read this part 😁
I see you trying to open my door but I have a device on my door that if you touch it or even think about touching it, it will blow your brains out of its sockets, and a zombie will be summoned and eat your brains from the floor. Hehe. Thank you for running away with a scream. Byee!!After I wrote the note I taped it onto my door, because if I had glued it on I guarantee you that I would have been in trouble. Every time Jimmy saw it he would run away. Even though Jimmy was my cousin he was like a brother to me. I could talk to him about almost everything. He was very understanding and I hope he will be a part of my life forever. The real reason why I wrote that special part for him in my letter is because, he absolutely believes in zombies, and he always tells me that one day when the zombie apocalypse comes to existence, he will be there to tell me, " I TOLD YOU SO!" He always encourages me to do my best, and he is an amazing friend, and cousin.
On my way to the bookshelf, my conscious was telling me that someone was following me, so I stopped, looked back but no one was there. I kept on walking and I heard footsteps creeping up behind me, so I stopped and turned around again but no one was there. As I turned the corner of the corridor near the bookshelves the footsteps grew louder and louder and louder until I turned around again and no one was there, when I was about to turn around............

We were absolutely blown away by how many views we received for only 2 chapters of the story being published, given the fact that the genre fantasy doesn't get a lot of views. You guys may think that 80+ views isn't that much, but for us it is compared to the views we normally receive. It is absolutely mind blowing.
