One shot, one kill

L: make sure you got a shot in the chamber cause we move on your shot spencer.

Don't worry I'll take care of it just have faith in me damn it.

I pull back the bolt action and I here the delightful sound of a round loading into the chamber. I rest calmly as I close one eye to see the distant base.

Helicopter isn't here yet.

A: are you sure you don't want me to spot for you.

Don't worry it's a beautiful night I got this handled just wait for the body to drop ok?

L: I'm trusting you Spencer after all you're the first kid I've hired to help with this A class mission.

I aim towards the pilot as it lands then I wait for the doors open with my finger on the trigger I wait for the right moment to send a silver shot straight through my target's temple.

What's his name again?

L:his name is bill he's wanted dead for murder and rape but he's also holding nukes the government doesn't know about.

Alright I got sights on the target.

I slowly breathe as my cross hairs lead a bit further in front then I slowly pull the trigger, I hear the delightful sound of the hammer hitting the round sending it flying through until bill's guards are covered in brains of their boss and I quickly pop the shell out and shoot off another making a double kill as the shot goes through two skulls.

L: we're moving but get out of there you got scouts on the way.

I stand up and start making my way back to the rendezvous point with my rifle moving at high speeds when I see two targets. I shoot one with my ballista and the other with my M9 pistol and I rush past their dead bodies. I finally reached the checkpoints down I set up in a treat letting the shell drop with a thud.

I sit and wait. I replaced the suppressor and waited for Ashley and lance to get here so we could go. My should felt a little sore but that's what happens when you fire silver .557mm rounds. It was a boring wait but every so often I would see a scout and I would put a round in his head.

I was just about to leave when I saw Ashley and lance running up with bill on lance's shoulder. I took aim and waited to see if they were followed. They weren't so I dropped and I followed. It didn't take long for us to reach our vehicles and take off. We split off with me and Ashley left lance to take the body to our employer and we started towards the base.

It took 3 hours till we finally made it to the dead mans hand home base and we were greeted with smiles. I stepped out and headed towards my tent when Ashley stopped me.

A: good job out there Spencer I'm  glad lance decided to let you to go with after all we don't have many people who can snipe as good as you and your like what 18?

20 and thanks but it's just practice and I learned a lot through the task force.

A:I bet you did well just remember to clean your rifle after you get comfortable cause silver doesn't mix well with the metal of your gun.

As I walked away I couldn't help but smile after all I was just on a A class mission with the leader Lance. I was always confused about ranking of the missions though. So A rank is the most dangerous then you have ranks B, C, and D those are less dangerous but the you have your likely suicide missions which are Z ranked so why wouldn't it go to E if Z is the only other one?
