My Life with Cole
"My, what an adventure this has been, through love and romance, to death and sorrow. We will get through this Cole, I love you."
These were the words I spoke after the sadness of the funeral, I blame everything good and bad that has happened so far, on the way I reacted to the visions in my brain. Here lies the untold story of my life with Cole.
Chapter One: The First Premonitions
My name is Laurie, I am sixteen and two years ago I started having premonitions of things that would happen to me. For example, my first premonition told me that my family would move to Chicago. After the vision my mom told my sister and I that we were moving to Chicago in two days, my premonition had told the truth.
I said goodbye to all of my friends, and tried to be optimistic about the move. Two days later, right on schedule we drove from Boston to Chicago. That is a long drive, and I hated it! We would drive, stop at a hotel, and bright and early the next morning we would get our things and leave.
After two more days of driving and asking how much longer, we made it to our house. This was my favorite part! We had a two story house, and I got my own room! Before, I had to share my room with my 13 year old sister, Marlene. Now I get my own room! Thank goodness, it's about time!
I went to the top floor and claimed my room. I was so excited! I couldn't wait to explore the house and the neighborhood!
I had my next premonition that night, there was a hidden door outside my room, there behind it was a small room, and another door that led to the roof. My premonition then flashed to this boy in a small room talking to me, I could make out only a few words, Cantonese, normal, and sulfer. I then woke up. This is the story of all that happened.
I went to explore the hallway the next morning; I found the door and opened it. I then found the secret room. I saw the door that lead to the roof. I opened it and went outside. I stood and looked at the busy city below me, it was amazing!
I closed my eyes, and took a deep breath of the fresh city air, and when I opened them I realized that everything had changed! The city wasn't there! I was standing on a sidewalk in a small town. I also had a headache. I was so scared; I didn't know where I was. I didn't know where to go.
Chapter Two: Meeting Cole
I saw a hospital of medicine and psychology. I knew that's where I had to go,
"I must be going crazy! I don't even know where home is, or where I am!" I said to myself. I walked inside and waited.
Soon someone came in, a young boy who looked to be 12 or 13 years old. He had short brown hair, and deep blue eyes that seemed to go on forever. After a minute he said to me.
