Chapter 3: Dinner At Paradice

Ross P.O.V

Red then walks out of my room, he shuts the door and walks away. I am relieved he asked me to go to dinner with him, it's gonna be freaking awesome. I decide to finish up a video that's due for next Monday, just so I could have time to have dinner tonight. Originally, I was gonna work on that video tonight but I have to change my schedule a little. Then, 2 hours pass and Max comes into my office.
"It's getting late, want me to drive you home to get ready for dinner?" He asks me.
"Sure," I say," I'd love to!"
He stays while I shut off my computer and save s thumbnail for a video. We then walk to the car, I see something in the front of the car. It s box of chocolates.
"What's that?" I ask Max.
"Red wanted me to give you those, for a before dinner snack." He says, my heart then lights up so bright that someone from the moon could see it.
That dinosaur is the cutest thing I've ever met, besides kitty purry of course. Anyways, I get in the car and the box of chocolates has a note. I then read it to myself while Max drives.
"Ross, you are the highlight of my day. Please enjoy this little box of chocolatey goodness to eat on the way to Olive Garden." It reads, then I light up even more.
"Why are you so bright?" Max asks me.
"You can see it?" I say.
"See what," he asks," I only see the brightness of your phone."
I then took a sigh of relief, I thought he saw my heart glimmer and glow. Luckily, my YouTube notification for Smosh saved me. We then got the apartment, I changed into some fancy-ish clothes and took off like a race car. I drove myself, obviously. Max stayed at home with Kitty purry and Galileo.
I got there, and Adam was already at the table.
"Good evening sir, would you like to get a table?"
"Uh, I already had a reservation. It's Narwal party of 4."
"Oh, right this way then sir." She then takes me to the table, where Adam is already eating the breadsticks.
"Adam, I said you should save them for us." I say as I sit down.
"I can't help it," he says," they're to good!" Then I look at my menu.
"Would you like anything to drink?" She tells us.
"I would like a Diet Coke!" Adam yells, not too loudly though.
"Same here." I say.
"Okay, Thanks." The waitress then leaves.
"So, Adam, how is life?" I ask him.
"Good," he replies," not as great but decent."
"Why do you say that?"
"It's not going that well. Little kids are picking on Mason in school. I can't believe he turned 6 just a couple months ago." He says. His wife, Alissa, has been trying to contact the school about the issue in Mason's class. The teachers, sadly, haven't listened.
"That sucks." I say, then I grab a breadstick.
"Hey, you weren't supposed to start eating without us!" Aphmau says, taking a seat and Red following closely behind. Red sits next to me and Aphmau sits next to Adam. We then have a nice conversation and get our main meals.
"This looks good." Red says.
"For sure!" I reply.
Then we start munching down our food. Aphmau was the first to finish, then me, Red and lastly Adam.
"Must've been all those breadsticks, huh Adam?" I say.
"My body is totally capable of that much food you know." He says. We then all laugh. We had a good time at dinner, lastly to top off the night we got those little Andy's mints. Red made his rapper into a mini airplane. Aphmau, Adam and I threw ours away.
When we walked out of the restaurant I decided to take Red back home. We got in the car and we held hands for a little, it was sweet. I always imagined this moment, I never knew it could come so fast.
