Friends

I dig a hole, but it was hard. As I dug, it was no longer snow. So I decided that making snow angels were better.
I looked at Zwane, hopefully, crawled near him and grinned. "Can you please play with me and Lin at your break time, Zwane? Please tell your boss!" I crawled nearer and gave him the "puppy eyes".
Zwane laughed. "Of course, anything for the little Kenny-Dra. Teach me the puppy eyes." He edged closer and tried to do a puppy eye.

"No, Zwane! You're doing it all wrong!" I giggled as he pulled a funny face, "You have to hold your eyes, then flash up! But, you have to be cute to do the puppy eyes!" I giggled some more.
Zwane pulled another face, "Then that means I can't do the puppy eyes! Does this face look cute to you?"
I burst out laughing and hugged him.

I was happy when Zwane went inside the factory and went outside, smiling at me.
He said he was allowed, but just quick, so he said, "You have to give me two hundred seconds, Kendra!"
I promised him I would play with him just quick, but I took the two-hundred-seconds seriously.
After 200 seconds, I moaned. "Aawww, you're done playing!"

Zwane chuckled a lot and said, "I'm not serious, you funny girl!" But Zwane had to work, so I had to play with Lin instead. When I looked for Lin, I saw her laughing along with another girl.

"Kendra! Oh, this is Melody. Melody, this is Kendra, my friend." Lin said.
"Best friend, more like," I said, shaking hands with Melody.
Melody shook her head at me, "You can't be Lin's best friend. I am! She said! She said I was her BFF forever and ever and ever and that she didn't want anyone else!"
I looked at Lin. "Is it true? When did you meet her? How did you meet her? What happened when I was with Zwane?"

"Calm down, Kendra. I met Melody when you were busy with Zwane Zwane Zwane. She lives next door, so I can visit her everyday! She's my best friend." Lin said, happily.
I melt down. I wasn't used to having friends, so having a friend is something I definitely guard and is scared losing.
"Well, you're still my best friend, and I'm still yours, so we can all be friends, so let's play." I said.
"Immature?" Melody said. "You didn't tell me she was very immature."

"I'm not immature, so you back off and let us play." I said, stucking my tounge out at her.
Lin said bye to Melody and started playing with me. I ignored Lin who was staring at us. When It was time for Lin to go home, I said bye to her, then I said bye to Zwane and went inside.
