Evan's POV

Well Starz Inc was right in front of us. We had all piled into the car's and drove to the building. I got out and looked to Moo and Wildcat. They both nodded as we walked inside and was instantly met with a very stern looking male.

"I'll take the two files back" The male held out his hand

"I think not. That wasn't put into the deal so sadly We will be hanging on to those and not be giving that back. Its blackmail for if you don't keep up your end of the bargain." I simply walked past him to the elevator. Brock smiled and followed, stopping when the guy grabbed him. I felt the urge to slam the guys head repeatedly into the ground for touching Brock but I refrained to to Tyler shoving him off Moo.

"Don't touch any of us. You have been warned. I don't think you want to end up like the guard from the other night" I glared at him as I spoke. He nodded once before heading for the elevator too "So tell us what you guys do here?"

"Well as you may have figured out we are taking people who have died and freezing their bodies and slowly replacing their organs with mechanical parts. We have managed to take people who were dead for a week and essentially bring them back to life. The only down side is they don't remember who they are or where they came from." The guy stopped talking and turned to the now deathly silent and tense group of males. "The name is Lancaster by the way"

"We don't care. So you are saying you are just creating zombies like they are nothing? What about the brain. After seven minutes oxygen doesn't go to the brain no more and they are literally dead. How are you seriously doing it?" Wildcat had his resting bitch face on.

"In 1986, A two-and-a-half year-old girl named Michelle Funk fell into a stream and drowned. By the time paramedics found her, she hadn't been breathing for more than an hour. Her heart was stopped. In other words, she was dead. Somewhat inexplicably, the paramedics continued to work on her, and so did doctors in the emergency room. Then, three hours after she died, Michelle Funk took a breath and her heart fluttered back into action. When cells are deprived of oxygen and nutrients, they soon begin to die. Cold delays this process by reducing cells' metabolic needs. That allows the brain and other organs to escape damage for far longer than they would have otherwise. If this happened at room temperature, there's virtually no chance they would have survived, at least not cognitively intact."(1) Lancaster smiled as the door to the Lab opened and we all stepped out.

"Mario, open the cryopods and wake the experiments" Lancaster yelled across the room and grabbed a clip board that had paperwork on it.

We watched as the people started to step out. There were five cryopods and all of them opened. On the far right was a blonde female with stunning blue eyes. She wore a police officers uniform.

"The blonde is Cindy, She was a police officer before she was shot in the line of duty shortly after her k-9 partner was killed" Lancaster motioned to the next pod. "This is William. He was a small shop owner when someone came in a robbed him. The robbery went wrong and he was killed. The next three are recent additions and we don't know anything but a name and how they died. The third is a female named Emma. She has brown hair and green eyes and was strangled when her boyfriend became angry with her. The last two people are males named Micheal and Jonathan. Micheal has blond hair and brown eyes and was beaten to death in a gang related incident. Jonathan is a brown haired, blue eyed male and was shoot point blank in the chest" Lancaster motioned to the last three and my eyes snapped to Jonathan.

When my shitty brown eyes met those beautiful ocean eyes, I felt the air leave my body. I moved to walk over to him but my legs gave and Moo caught me

"J-Jonathan?" I whispered as I pushed away from the body and made a dash to the male. I slammed into him and tightly hugged him. I knew he wouldn't remember me but I couldn't be happier to see him. I felt something wet run down my face. I was crying but to be honest, This was a moment I had long since dreamed of. I had him back and I didn't want to let him go....Ever again.

"Well Hello there cutie" Jonathan laughed his crazy laugh and looked down to me "Do I know you sir?" He asked. I sniffed and nodded, pulling away just a bit

"You were once the love of my life and I lost you one day. I thought you were gone and left me. I didn't want you to go. I'm so glad you are back." I said as best I could through snot and tears

There was a moment of silence between us before he leaned down and kissed me. For the first time in Four and half years, I felt the butterflies I felt when Jonathan and I had first shared a kiss. I held him close before he pulled away.

"Well I definitely have some sort of feeling there. You do cause butterflies but I don't have a heart beat due to these guys replacing my heart and lungs with mechanical devices so I can't honestly figure out what I'm feeling. I wish I could feel if my heart beat to figure out what I'm feeling" Jonathan looked at me and smiled. I turned to Lancaster

"What did he just say?" I asked, I was mad they would do such a thing to my Jon bear

"It was a necessity to keep him alive. You must understand" Lancaster didn't have much time to think before Moo hit the guy.
