Where I'm From

I am from beds, sheets, and pillows

I am from the trailer

That my Grandma owns.

I am from the words on a page

From the imagination of others

I am from having good ideas

To writing crappy stories

I am from the trees

The pool

And smiles

From my mom, dad, and grandma

I am from hand-me-downs

And big sisters

I am from being stuck in the middle

From acting too mature and too young

From being the weird one

I am from the arguments

And love

From whats and okays

I am from Limestone Baptist Church

The family of God.

I am from chimichangas

And cheese

From the falls

The rocks

And the sun

I am from not having as much as others

Yet having so much more

I am from home
