Chapter 2 The Shop
Drake renamed the shop Drake’s and remodeled the entire place to make it look very modern and outfit it with any and every item on the space market from simple geo-plate chips the newest warp drive accelerator. The shop instantly became successful and Drake began making thousands of credits per day. After 2 months Drake bought over the local bar and re designed the whole interior and made everything brand new from the flooring to the assassin droids that patrolled the bar in rounds making sure no violence broke out. After a year Drake was the richest man on Martor3 and was proclaimed the new mayor of Foundry, the town that he had slowly taken over with his franchise. Within 3 years Foundry became the new capitol city of Martor3 and Drake its new planetary representative. Drake’s became the new capitol building yet still remained the biggest store on the planet after drake had added over 10,000 square feet onto the store since he took over. Within 5 years Martor3 became the largest populated planet in the outer ring the seventh galactic sector, which never had any true control or representation like the other six did, but now it was time for Drake to change that. With a population of almost 1.5 billion people behind him and a navy already with over 2 million soldiers and 2,500 ships Drake had a complete military power advantage over the other 36 inhabited planets in his sector. His flag ship was beautiful monster of a ship, the Triheiser. With 5 class 6 engines, the capacity for over 250,000 soldiers, 500 ships, enough supplies to last the entire crew a whole year out in space, the ability to still make hyper jumps, and the most important not was that drakes original ship was part of the main control bridge and when needed both ships could separate and operate on their own drake piloting his ship and Carl giving orders to the captains back on the main deck of the Triheiser. Drake organized a meeting of the leaders of the other 36 planets at Drake’s to discuss the organization of a true seventh sector and the choosing of a representative. It was to be a 3 daylong meeting but Drake knew that it would only take one day to pick a representative; it was the revolution that would take 2 days to sort out with the other delegates. As all of the guests arrived Drake sat in his room in the same suit that he was going to wear to his last death sentence before Isaac and his Dangman Empire took over the remaining six sectors. “Here I come Isaac. I hope you’re ready.” Drake smiled to himself the walked out to greet his guests.
