Among Us

Chapter 3- The Attic

As we walked to the attic ladder the crying got louder and louder. Everyone scrambled behind me and Kale as we pulled down the ladder. As we went up the creaky stairs, we found ourselves in a room that was dark and creepy.
The crying was really loud. We were searching around for the sorce of the crying. Blake said,"hey I found something." We walked over to him to only find a chest. It was a chest full of old pictures that a little girl by the name of Missie. As we looked at the pictures we found that they had the same "figures" in them and they were made by the same person. There was two strange people like figures in them as well. One of the figures was a girl of a young age, with long black hair, a white dress, with black buttons and shoes. Another was a almost unhappy figure that resembled a person. It was almost a black mass, it was in some kind of TV, and the plug looked liked it was pulled. The shadow in the TV had blood red eyes and a concrning look on his face. As we all looked at the girls pictures, and as the crying continued, we heard the crying behind us.
As we turned around we didn't expect what we saw at the time. We saw a little girl sitting in the closest corner to the attic door sobbing. Zoey , was usally a nice person, so she went in front of us, saying, "don't worry we won't hurt you." Then the little girl responded," I know you won't, but I will." At the end of that sentence she got up and turned into the most horrific creature. It had lanky arms and legs that dangled to its side, it's jaws had looked like they were popped out of there sockets. The dress it had before was torn down and ripped apart, it's eyes were almost a red orange. As it lumbered twards us we had only one running through our heads. RUN.
I comanded my friends to take the chest, they did as they were told. We threw the chest down the stairs as the thing was almost on our tails. As we all flew into the living room we found spots to hide from the creature. When we did we saw the thing go into the living room form our spots. Joseph had the chest and was hiding in the closet. Cassie, Kale and I were hiding in the big cabinets. Mason and Alana were hiding in the refrigerator. Zoey was hiding with Joseph but she was on the top shelf of the closet. After a little while we heard the monster give up in its search. We heard the monster roar a terrible cry, after that a growl, then silence.
We hesitated, but we did eventually get out of our hiding spots. When we did we argued about what we should do with the chest. "We should keep looking through it," said Kale. "We should put it back before we get killed", said Cassie. Then we reached an agreement, whoever wants to stay will stay, and whoever wants to leave will leave. We agreed that that was fair.
But no one wanted to leave. They wanted to stay for the adventure, and to make sure their friends are safe. We all agreed to look in the chest some more the next morning so we can have a fresh start. But that's not how it went down, it was much worse as time went on...
