3rd Person POV

________

"I had no choice." he whispered softly. Hoseok stayed quiet, knowing he wasn't done talking. "I was scared of losing you. You're life was threaten 2 times." he admitted more quietly, the red head had a hard time catching the words. Hoseok's eyes widen a little, how come he hadn't ever heard of that. "Why didn't you tell me that before?" Hoseok looked at the dark desk.

"I didn't want you to worry over it, but then I realized I couldn't keep putting you in danger. I had to let you go, even if it meant hurting me in the process." he did his best to hide the pain in his voice. "We could have found other ways." Hoseok mumbled, letting his eyes scan the picture again.

"We tried, I tried and look for more ways. But none worked, I couldn't keep someone by you're side the whole time, and I couldn't go with you everywhere." he explained closing his eyes. "Jimin could have been with me, he was after all in the gang too. Jungkook and Tae where always with me too." Hoseok reminded him.

"But they were new and yes strong, but not like a person who has been in the gang their whole lives. They still think that others would have mercy, but they don't. My family is the closest thing to a kind leader, and even they aren't exactly the nicest....." Yoongi sighed, his voice trailing off.

"So that was it? You gave up on me." Hoseok's words hit him harder than the younger had intended. "I had no choice." Yoongi whispered again softly. "Everyone has a choice, you just chose the easy way out." snapped Hoseok, glaring at the picture.

"Stop being so selfish, I did this for you." Yoongi didn't raise his voice, but the tone turned hard as steel. "Fine then, I'm a selfish bastard who didn't want to give up his first love. You promised to protect me, but nothing protected me from you." Hoseok's voice cracked at the end.

"Yes, you might have protected me from other people. But you didn't protect me from the most dangerous person. You. You hurt me more than other people could physically do." Hoseok shook his head, blinking back tears. All the feelings of pain and hurt came back at full force.

Yoongi looked away, eyes filled with the same familiar pain that had filled his eyes for the past 2 years. Hoseok's eyes wonder down to his left hand. A pang of hurt hit his heart when he noticed the silver ring missing.

"You took it off." was all he said before walking away from the blonde. Yoongi immediately understood what he meant and looked down, heart feeling as if it was breaking all over again. The promise rings he had bought for them played a very important part in their past relationship.

They had made each other promises they had valued so much. Promises they had fought to maintain, but failed in the end.

_________

"Where are we going?" whined the young brunette. Yoongi stayed quiet, keeping his grip on the other boy's waist tight. "Just wait a few more minutes." he chuckled, whispering in his ear. Hoseok blushed a soft pink before he gave a small nod.

A few more minutes passed before he felt the pink haired boy stop. "Ok, we're here." Yoongi announced. Hoseok took it as a sign to take off the blindfold. As soon as his eyesight got clear he gasped, dropping the piece of clothing to the ground.

It was a bridge, but it was surrounded by pink, Sakura trees. It was night, the lights reflected on the water in front if them. The air was filled with the sweet scent of the flowers. It was an amazing sight.
