Well.. Today was going good no trouble it was like I was a normal student that is until seventh hour.
"Can I talk to....umm...Jadyn Caniff?" She asked looking down at a paper.
"Ooooooohh." The class chorused
"Sure." Mrs. Moser said as I got up.
"Do you have an uncle named Stephen?" She asked. As soon as the door was closed and I was in the hall. At this moment I wasn't worried he probably wrecked on his motorcycle and is in a coma or got a concussion like usual.
I jut nodded.
"He was in a wreck." Knew it.
"Was it just him?" I asked. I had too ask he has a girlfriend that has four kids and I was really close to the oldest and the youngest one. And he has one kid of his own, Presten.
"No." She responds.
At this moment I was about to cry.
"Was Presten in the wreck?" I asked worried. Cause Presten has asthma really bad.
"No."
"How are they doing?" I had so many questions. "Are they all still here" I asked referring to Earth.
"Not three of them." She whispered.
"Is Kay one of them?!" Kay is Stephen's girlfriend. I was wanting to know cause if she was then the kids would've had to go to their abusive father.
"No."
"What were they in? Are the others okay? Who's gone?" I asked tears flowing like no other.
"It says they were in a Cadillac. The others are okay. And Stephen is gone." I couldn't help but cry. " the oldest Lilly is gone. And the youngest Johnny."
"W-WHAT??" I couldn't believe this. Lilly was only two years older than me and Johnny was only five....
"I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault." I said hugging her, wiping my tears then going back into my class room.
Presten's bestfriend was in that class. Presten doesn't go to that school. He goes to a Cristian school. Thanks to his mom.
"Jadyn do you wanna read?" Mrs. Moser asked me.
"No. I don't wanna read for a while." I said tears at the brim of my eyes.
"Okay" she could see the hurt in my eyes.
I just didn't want to go to eighth hour. My least favorite teacher and my reading teacher.
*school bell*
"Jadyn, can I talk to you?" Mrs. Moser asked as I got my stuff. She was always my favorite teacher. She knew me the best. And was the closets to my family.
I walked to her desk, without saying a word.
"Would you like to talk about it?"
I just shrugged my shoulders.
*tardy bell*
"I'll write you a tardy note." This is why I love her.
"My uncle was in a crash and died." I said letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"But why won't you read?"
"Because his girlfriends daughter was in the car with him and she loved reading. Nobody knew it besides me and her family." Tears started to come out again.
"Oh. Well don't you have reading next hour?" She asked wiping my tears.
I couldn't speak so I just nodded.
"If she makes you do something you don't wanna do just come to my class. I have another class after this but just knock and I'll answer." She said giving me a hug and my tardy slip.
"You're tardy." Mrs. Swindle said as I walked into her eighth hour class.
"I know" I handed her the slip.
"What were you doing? With Mrs. Moser?" She asked with a sassy tone.
"None of your business." I responded not regretting it.
"Whatever. Start reading!" She practically yelled.
I just sat there not doing anything besides thinking.
"JADYN." She screamed.
I grabbed my stuff and walked to the door. "Bye" I said crying.
"Jadyn get back in here! Jadyn!" She yelled at me as I walked down the hall.
"Leave me alone. You've already done enough!" I yelled back turning around to face her then continuing to walk to mrs. Moser's room. As soon as I knocked she opened the door.
"Jadyn. What happened?" She asked while turning to see the principal walking toward us.
"Sh-She Ye-yelled at m-m-me" I said while tears flowed harder than ever.
