Taehyung

It's been three days since I noticed something in Trisha's apartment.

I suddenly remembered the image of Trisha, asking me to protect Dan.

"Hey, what's up?" Jin hyung snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Ceiling." I sighed.

"Nice joke. Why the sigh?" He looked at me deadpan.

"Nothing hyung, it's just that, I don't know, I just feel like.." I can't even--

"Is it about Trisha again?" He smirked.

"Yo-you know her? H-how?"

"Well, you've been uttering that name since then, we were curious so we asked Kookie to investigate her background." He's teasing me!

"I-I'm not hyung!" I'm sure as hell my cheeks are rosy red right now.

"Then why are you blushing huh?" He really is teasing me!!

"S-shut up! J-just leave me alone h-hyung!" And why the fuck am I stuttering?

"If you say so." He rolled his eyes before laughing.

Then the thought of protecting Dan hit me again. I groaned in frustration.

~flashback

"Hyung, let me win!" Dan groaned.

I laughed in reply. We're playing Fifa on the Xbox right now since Trisha hasn't arrived yet.

I heard some screeching which made me stilled. Dan seems to enjoy the game.

"I'll be right back." I stood up and went to the kitchen.

I feel like someone's watching me. There's someone in here. From my pheriperal vision, someone passed by behind the window near the kitchen sink. I was about to go nearer when Dan shouted.

"Hyung! C'mon!" Dan snapped me.

"O-okay." I glanced every corner of the kitchen again before I went back to Dan.

Something's wrong.

"Wait hyung." Dan paused the game and stood still before he went to the kitchen.

I secretly followed him.

He roamed around the kitchen for seconds then he tilted his head, facing the window near the kitchen sink. I glanced at what he stared. It is just some trees.

"Tsk." He went closer and stared intently at the trees through the window.

"Reveal yourself, chicken." He whispered only enough to be heard from where I am.

He's coming in my way so I quickly went back to the game.

He arrived with two glasses of juice and with a genuine smile, but the fierceness in his eyes caught me.

Probably he sensed something too, but I couldn't believe at such a young age, he felt the presence of someone.

"What took you so long?" I asked.

He avoided his gaze on me.

"Don't lie to me Dan." I said with an authority.

"I- I just felt something weird. And I heard some screeches coming from the kitchen so I went there to check." He tried to look at me the eyes.

"Then?"

"I felt like someone was watching me." I couldn't see fear in his eyes.

"And then?"

"That's all." He ended the discussion but I'm still not yet done.

At such a young age. How come he's not afraid?

"How come you weren't afraid Dan Rhi?"

"Fear is not in my vocabulary." He said while his eyes are like shooting daggers at the screen.

"At a very young age. Whoa. You're one of a kind!"

He nodded and smiled.

"Hyung, I want to learn martial arts. Teach me, please?"

"Not now kiddo. You're still young."

"I'm not a kid."

I chuckled. "Sure young man."

~end of flashback

The fierceness in Dan's eyes still give me shivers down to my spine.

I was about to go inside my room when I heard some sighs and keyboard tapping on Jungkook's room.

I swung the door opened and Jungkook have a worried face.

"Hyung." He said, half whisper and half shouting.

"Hey, what happened?" I went closer to him, he continued tapping on the keyboard while his eyes are stuck at the monitor.

"Isn't this Trisha's apartment?" He showed me a CCTV footage.

I slit my eyes and watch the video carefully.

"It happened earlier, two thirty-six am." Jungkook said.

My eyes parted wide as I cursed. Jungkook covered my mouth as he said "Quiet."

Trisha is kidnapped. Don't you dare lay a finger on her if you don't want to rot in hell.
