To believe in something/someone
To believe is to have faith in it
To have faith is to have hope for it
To have hope is to love it enough
To love is to care
Care for it like you care for yourself
Love it as if you love a baby
Have hope for it as if you hope for tomorrow
Have faith in everything you do
Believe
So why every time I believe in you, you let me down
Let me down as if I'm nothing
Let me down as if you hate me
You don't appreciate my value
You just didn't know
That my trust is like a rare and precious diamond
That my trust is like a newborn baby, fragile
That my love is like no other
That I care more for you than I did myself
That I would have given you my heart if you asked for it
That I hoped you would have did the same for me
No
You knew
I cared for you
I loved you
I had hope for us
I had faith in us
I believed you
And you still treated me like shit
I trust no one
I trust no one with my heart
I trust no one with my soul
I trust no one with my secrets
I trust no one with my life
I have trust issues
It's a problem to some
But I'd rather die alone than to relive the pain of trusting another
