As young girls we are taught not to socialize around boys, we aren't allowed to talk to them or even look in their direction. If we are taught this at a young age we are eventually going to develop feelings for a girl, or at least thats how I feel.
I grew up with girls my entire life, but I am still prone to be with a boy. As we grow older we are taught by society that we are supposed to be with the opposite sex, so that we can reproduce. If you have ever heard the song "Flawless" by Beyoncé, it states that we teach girls to aspire to marriage, though we teach girls to aspire to marriage, we do not teach boys the same, so this song is implying that this is also an asset on why we have gay marriages.
If a mother has her first child as a girl, then her second child will probably tendsl towards girl actions unless there is a strong male figure in the childs life. The world balances a person and their life. I pretty sure you have heard of the phrase treat others the way you want to be treated. Everyone has those people who constantly tells them that they are ugly, fat, or gay and etc, the list goes on and on. But I'm one of those people who either ignores the person or I compliment them occasionally. It depends on the situation at hand and the people I am dealing with, but I would like to be treated equally and nicely so I try my best to do that for others.
I am bi-sexual and I am currently struggling to tell my family and everyone else that I love, I want to be accepted by them, I want to be loved no matter who or what I am.
