Chapter 1: The Alleyway

Your POV

It was a peaceful night in Ninjago City. This place is amazing. The city lights, the buildings, the entertainment. It's beautiful.

I was wandering around the city, exploring the beautiful wonders it has to offer.

A blind alleyway caught my attention.

I walked into the opening and discovered the wall art. Well, more like graffiti. It was really dark but towards the opening, there was only very little light that shone through. I wished that it was brighter.

I started making some random motions with my hands, then, all of a sudden, a little flare of light blasted from my hands to the walls.

"Woah." I thought.

Y/N: So cool!

I wasn't afraid. It was amazing. I had randomly shot out light from my hand! How is that possible? Is this like some kind of elemental power I have inside of me? Could I be like one of the famous ninja? Nah, that's so stupid. I can never be one of them, they're so cool and amazing while I'm just a boring person living in Ninjago City.

But yet this power, it's, cool! I continued to discover this amazing power. I shot some more light beams at the wall and created a heart in the air. It was so pretty. Why am I discovering this today? Will something happen later on? I don't know, but I'm glad I have this power.

Few minutes into messing around with my new light power, I heard some mysterious noises behind me. I stopped messing around with the light and turned around. I carefully got up and slowly walked toward the sound.

Being fearless, I decided to take my chances and see what was behind the wall. I peeked around the corner and just screamed with fear.

Kai's POV

Kai: Ugh, hurry up Cole, Sensei said for us to do this task as quickly as possible.
Cole: Calm down hothead, I'm tryna fix my vehicle, unlike you.
Kai: We're already ready!
Cole: Whatever I'm done now, let's go.

Cole, Zane, Jay, Lloyd and I were on a quick mission. Well quick in my opinion. We had to do a quick look around Ninjago City, just to make sure everything is alright. We do this almost every night which the ninja and I clearly don't mind.

We headed out summoning our dragons. We did a quick sky check from above in a circle.

Jay: Okay! Everything looks good from here.

Lloyd: Same over here.

Cole: Me too.

Zane: Nothing bad in sight.

Kai: I'm all clear, now, to do the ground check.

We all raced down to the middle of Ninjago City where all of the lights shined from buildings. We all looked up in amazement.

Lloyd: Ninjago City.

Cole: This place is amazing.

Jay: Tell me about it, especially at night. It just feels so, wow!

Zane: Indeed it does.

Kai: I would really want to live here one day. I just love the vibes it brings without any enemy's to face.

Jay: Exactly.
